SPECTRE, Blofeld, and the movie pool

The idea behind this game has been a dream of mine since I was a wee fella, and I can't wait to check this out in October.
I was surprised to see the first level revealed to be Moonraker. It makes sense in a few ways, because that film had a very unique setting and action sequences. I assumed, though, that our first glimpse at the game would be from one of the Connery movies.
And then that got me thinking: What about the rights to Blofeld and SPECTRE? There was an old lawsuit that allowed a different movie company the rights to produce a remake of Thunderball (the 80's flick Never Say Never Again), and under those conditions the original Bond franchise was not allowed to use the Blofeld character. If you've seen For Your Eyes Only, note that Blofeld's brief appearance is uncredited.
Also, remember that SPECTRE was renamed OCTOPUS for the From Russia With Love game, and Blofeld was removed entirely.
Does this rights issue limit the pool of movies that can be chosen to be levels in the game? If SPECTRE and Blofeld are off limits (which is a real shame, because they're Bond's archnemesis), will we see ANY levels in the game from their movies?
All of Connery's films involve the supergroup (from Dr. No to Goldfinger to OHMSS to Diamonds and everything in-between); I seriously hope some of those movies make it into the game somehow.

Umm....Goldfinger was the only Connery Bond movie that didn't involved SPECTRE.

Dr. No has been satisfied with Rogue Agent and From Russia With Love has its own game. I think You Only Live Twice, Diamonds Are Forever, and Thunderball will all make good levels.

Never sure who has the Spectre or Blofeld rights...
SPOILERS FOR GOLDENEYE: ROQUE AGENT
I remember Rogue Agent had a 2 second unnamed cameo of Blofeld (like For Your Eyes Only). Think it would be cool as hell to have both Spectre and Blofeld back. Wonder which Blofeld they would use?
Not a huge fan of Thunderball, my least favorite Bond movie (though I don't hate it, has some great moments, to be honest I prefer Never Say Never Again, probably in the minority). I would love a Diamonds are Forever level, since we haven't seen that in game form.
My favorite Bond movie is From Russia With Love, though I doubt we'll see that in the game since it already had one.
And Moonraker is a great choice IMO. Moore and his movies are some of my favorites. The Spy Who Loved Me is my second favorite film of the series, would love a level for that. Moonraker is silly and sttupid as hell, but I love it.

EON/MGM own the rights to Blofeld and Spectre now.
Kevin McClory, the guy who co-wrote Thunderball owned the rights to the that story (EON made a deal with him to adapt it the big-screen) and the character Blofeld died in 2006.
I'm not sure if the rights reverted to Flemings estate or EON/MGM bought them from McClory's estate, but either way MGM/EON own the rights now.
