Winter is coming, and Kevin VanOrd reviews A Game of Thrones: Genesis for the PC.
Game of Thrones: Genesis' storytelling is "painfully amateur." Good gosh... poor storytelling in a Game of Thrones licensed product? Walk the other way guys. What a poor use of the GoT license.
Cyanide, prove me wrong with Game of Thrones PC (RPG, adventure May 15th).
i never watch the TV series, but did they truly believe this game to work for us gamers, did they truly believe we waste our time watching those crappy TV series instead of playing video game.
@Kevin-V Hi Kevin. You made a factual error in your review of AGOT:G. Quote: "You can't queue up orders, so once an envoy captures a town, he sits there until you command him to move on." This is false. You can queue up orders by holding down shift and then right-clicking. This is erroneously defined as CAP+right-click in the manual though. Also, I only now realised that Gamespot critic scores are wrong. It states that it is the average of the 14 listed reviews, but it is in fact just the score taken from GameRankings.com, which uses a different set of reviews for its score. The actual average of listed reviews (28.10.2011) is 5.6 . Maybe not a huge difference, but still.
Its a shame the game doesnt come together at all because there's more creative thinking in this game than on any other RTS out there. Hope someone comes along that makes better use of the great gameplay elements that this game creates. Maybe in a sequel.
