Sadly will never compare to AOE or AEO:II. I fear that magic is gone, like the company that created it.

I played this game and i don't know why, but this game just doesn't feel like "Age of Empires" game to me.

I liked AoE II and AoM better than this game...but it's still good.

I love this game. To bad that the FPS goes right down to freezing almost in naval battles if you dont have a good enough computer.

It's always good to see a new AoE, they're great games. One and two were classics, and you can say what you like about Age of Mythology, I still think it's awesome.

This is an awful video review. The quality of the video is the worst I have seen on Gamespot and he seems to end abruptly and in mid sentence.

This game is really great... I loved AOE2 and was originally disapointed with this game but its really addictive and fun. I played it the last 2 years and barely touch my xbox now. It's all about the multiplayer online. Not the story mode.

wow this guy needs to get laid..... and the best thing about this game were the ship battles. seeing a cannonball blast into the side of a ship and blow chunks of wood everywhere was sweet. @ lonewolf - good job on naming almost every european nation you idiot

Is Age of Empires and Age of Mythology Microsofts ISP? I hope not, then ROBOT can keep making these games. I would love an Age of Mythology 2...

Look,considering it's reputation,it's a game worth playing.But on the players point of view,it's a game you might skip just in case you are fascinated with other more interesting titles on the shelves.

This game is a great game with great graphics. I recommend it to anyone that likes strategy games.

@aragon They wont do civil war they will skip it to do WWI and WWII. Because they are focusing of eras that involved a lot of nations. Civil war was just america. (usless there were other nations that helped I can't remember) So they would have to go to the WW era. But I think they should remake III or start from the begining and remake the past games with these new graphics and hell add a lot more features like calvary running through ranks and a lot more things.

i so regret buying this game thinking its going to be better than AOM or AOE2. Asian dynasties isnt as bad though. Also combat feels sloppy, specially with ships and when units try to destroy buildings, how they have to make a perfect circle around it and throw torches. its stupid to me

yes but sadly.. it looks like some cheap ripoff, even though its made by the same guys.. its turn based and just doesn't look like AOM... =(

Hope they make a fourth like you said but i would like to have Civil War instead because i think they should move up through history

Hmmm..... Now that Ensemble is being disbanded I doubt there will be a fourth AOE or a second AOM but... one can hope. Maybe fourth will be modern like World in Conflict or EndWar
