next gen consoles will perform at around 80% hardware performance of a current top end PC. They will outperform that PC within 6 months of release (as they have lighter more efficient OS's), but of course by then PCs will have moved on. Unless the market moves towards central super computers distributing content over hyper fast connections M$ have the traditional games industry in the bag.

Alan Wake's American Nightmare is headed to PC on May 22, 2012.
lol at the people trying to sound smarter than what they actually are...quantum leaps are when electrons instantaneously move from one point to another. So when he says that next gen will be a quantum leap forward, hes not saying its a large leap, hes saying that there hasn't been a consistent progression, due to the long life cycle this current generation has had. This is something that many other developers/ ceos/ publishers/ etc have been saying for awhile. lol at the irony of my own statement....
I Love Alan Wake . i think this is the best horror game and the Alan's character is my love this is the interesting and affect game.
I am gutted Alan Wake never followed the original plan to be an open world arcade adventure game.
I found the game way too repetetive and mindless, and it looks like they've increased both of those factors in this spin off.
