Look boring as hell, it dont even matter if he cant play well. lol The aliens attack and run away, that is just awful and the beginning of what's wrong. Hopefully, it gets better but its publish by the low budget Sega so i dont expect it. As is I wouldnt even play it for free and i could.

MP looks like something I would attempt but I am more interested in the single player aspect.

Why do the people who demonstrate the game always suck at them? I don't think that guy hit an alien ONCE in the first minute...
Looks fun...Just not liking the scratch,scratch and dead thing going on, what happened to the retractable jaw death? One thing that seems like most games are missing is the way you die. Its gonna look a little lame to be killing a horde of xenos and then getting took out by an alien's scratch attack.
I dunno, I just hope this game is good. Even decent. Having xenomorphs pop out of nowhere could be great.. please don't fuck this one up, too.

I'm quite looking forward to the campaign of the game but this multiplayer really looks terrible in my opinion, another 'tacked on multiplayer' to 'please' more people =/

Not too shabby. This is simply TDM. This doesn't speak for the entire game. It's gonna be a survival horror/sci-fi game. Good time, but I'll wait to see a review.

Would have liked it that they didn't bother with MP and focused on the SP game, from what i've seen it didn't look too promising either.
I wont be fooled in to paying full price for over hyped games anymore.

looks fun.. the coop campaign will make or break A:CM for me though.. competitive multiplayer really doesn't matter to me on this one..

This looks like an online multi-player that I think that I would actually play and I can have fun.

Of course, this is still pretty early and that's probably why it doesn't look as great is it could. I suspect that they'll push it back to summer 2013 to polish it more. I just hope they add more xeno classes / upgrades and more weapons for marines. It actually would get old fast with only 1-2 game modes, 3-4 xenos types, and only 4-5 marine weapons; I hope they will do better than that.
Not so exciting, actually, but maybe it was the sound with this video - massively overlapping monotone drivel. Couldn't hear him half the time, couldn't hear what was going on... reality of E3 or not, this did not sell the game. I'll be waiting for a better more immersive demonstration because this did it no justice whatsoever.

Well the premise is certainly promising but I guess we'll just have to wait and see whether or not the developer hype lives up to the final product. Don't do a Prometheus on us and leave us hanging, huh Gearbox?!

@brandonabe So the quality of a game in your eyes, directly relates to impact physics of shooting or mauling people? You'll need to elaborate a bit more if you want to make any sense.

2 Like @DarthLod You would make Aliens.... Colonial Marines.... WITHOUT multiplayer? I'm glad you're not in charge. Multiplayer adds life and community to a game, plus it's a frikin FPS.
An FPS without multiplayer is like a driving or sport game without multiplayer (nonsensical).
I think the first thing you notice in this demo is that the marines really are at a disadvantage. I say this because they have to rely heavily on point and shoot mechanics. This means there is a greater amount for human errors during gameplay. Where as the zenomorphs seem to operate rather quickly using simple melee attacks. I admit I love the genre, but where's the acidic blood of the zenos? Why do we not see the marines using melee weapons, like combat knifes, in this demo like other FPS's? I have yet to play AVP, and by the looks of it, I may just wait to play this one as well.
@JoshuaK1980 Pitchford said something about not having acid blood in the E3 demo, just for the show (it is in game, and deadlier than before- you have to use bleach to neutralise it before it eats through your armour and kills you). Combat knives probably not a good idea against alien ;3
