also i think 2k could use maddens controls but wiht 2k gameplay .. for i like madden controlls over 2k controlls .... but yah like i siad i think the companies could merge.... and ea could even take care of promotion and presentation and 2k works on gameplay and welll ea could sharpen the graphics up..

ok we all know about the whole thing with ea and 2k i still say though 2k lacks in presentation and other aspects always great gameplay though... and i say the solution is that ea merges with 2k instead of buying them outl... ea could take care of the presentation such as menu screens and loading screens and then 2k could work the gameplay .. although some things on gameplay are wors eiwth 2k than ea but for the most part 2k is better just needs to adapt maddens style of kicking and depth rosters.... but a merge would be great i think..

Good game but the lack of new commentary, animations and of course NFL license hurt this game's chances of competing with Madden. Just buy 2K5 online or in your local game store's bargain bin unless you need next-gen graphics. Not bad, just not near the bar that 2K5 set and it is a bummer.

this review was pretty brief. I agree, the game isnt up to the quality of 2k football. however, i disagree about the animations. I thought they were the best I've seen in any game to date. Very dynamic and realistic responses to collisions on teh field. I bought ncaa at teh same time and the animations in that game do nto come close. The gamepley is 2k5 gaemplay knocked up a little, but it is grpahically better...not as good as it could and should be be, but better than 2k5...

'had..'? I was getting very sick over Madden's promises with no follow up, kinda hoping this game will take over.
