Preparing for life-threatening situations with a video game, adorable.

This explains why their agents have so many glitches.

I hope so much for Americans that their not 'training' with crap of duty, halo or some other piece of junk that you don't need a brain to play.

If I was the director I'd make them all play a range of games like LA Noire, ARMA 2 and even a bit of Trine to see how well they can play as a group to solve little puzzles.

The games they were playing looked like GRAW and ARMA II just with bad graphics, same movements and everything, maybe with the new gorgeous Unreal 4 engine they might play games that look the part aswell.

Oh and why is always the FBI? why not NSA? all they'd have to do is play some Splinter Cell, Third Echelon and Sam Fisher style =)

Could the FBI and government propaganda in general please stay out of the gaming industry? Thank you.

We played ARMA / ARMA II before every time we deployed to Baghdad as a part of our training. It helped us put into practice our SOPs, while practicing the ROEs.

This story is almost 10 years old.  Remember Full Spectrum Warrior?

@GBl4wd0g True, I remember hearing about this shortly after Full Spectrum Warrior came out.

No sir I have not been playing games all day... it is ummm... for training...

My kids do a simular thing, while studying the early American settlement and how man learned to survive in arid climates/desert for a school project the kids said they had to play many hours of Red Dead Redemption to understand the time and living conditions of that era and how people had to survive.

Oddly enough they study World War a lot too because they are always playing FPS.
