I started playing this game and couldn't get past the intro mission because it is so boring. The controls are very dumb and it doesn't have a hint system to help you get past the tutorial level. Unless you've played the rest of the Anno games don't even try getting this one. Graphically it looks only a little better than SCII. It seems to use the UE3. The resource system is bad and buying resources is even worse. If you enjoy sitting at the screen and watching your ships collect resources without any action what so ever or if you like Civilization, you may like it. I personally prefer Warcraft or Natural Selection which rely on war strategy. Peaceful strategy games are a waste of time. Thus I gave this game a bad rating. I'll keep playing it and if it seems to get more exciting, I will raise the rating, but my hopes are not up for this one.
