Check out an awesome new walk-through video for Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.
I have watched this video over 1000 times and i still can't get over it. JUST imagine what the real game will be like
for those that responded to my "Not liking tank and flying machine" comment while i am fully aware that da Vinci drew detailed sketches of these, i also believe that none of these sketches would function in reality like they do in game. while the flying machine was a short, and kind of misplaced break from normal gameplay in acII, the tank just seems overpowered. besides. if the assassins where the first to develop a tank, why not mass produce and go all in on killing the templars
@ GamerLegend10 & @ daltonhouse33 take it easy people, both of you are wrong. the tank was first created by Leonardo da Vinci and Ubisoft in 1503 in Rome. didn't you see the trailer?!!!
@moovile yes it was just a stupid mistake, i know very well when it was created. i have now corrected that, thanks for pointing it out.
This really is looking like a great game. I'm glad that they are willing to keep on adding more variety, the core game of exploring, free running, and assassinating is great, but stuff like this just adds a little spice. I'm also glad they're continuing to tweak the combat. There actually was a lot of variety in the combat added in AC2, but since you didn't have to use it, nobody noticed. Having enemies team up on you is a great idea, and makes the guards seem smarter, though in this video they didn't seem to be attacking together much. Wouldn't it add more excitement if occasionally a group of them would just rush you, especially if it was in a section of the game when you were supposed to be stealthy? There should be times where you really have to be good to not die. More danger and "oh crap!" moments would add more tension, which this excellent franchise could really use.
@GamerLegend10 you are possibaly the biggest moron i know for 1 lenardos invintions were possibly created by him when he drew up the blueprints ect. for another reason the tank was created in ww1 by the allied powers ( America, Britain France.ect.) not ww2 by the british the wright brothers didnt copy any British person to make there plane they were the first to make a plane and the used some of the same designes as there glider that they made in the 1890's and the helicopter was created by the germans in ww2 and it had 2 roders so dont be talking about history like you know it when you dont
@ GamerLegend10 The first real tank was the Mark IV created by the British during the FIRST WORLD WAR, not the second. Hopefully that was just a stupid mistake
@GamerLegend10 @Scottisme @mikey1611 You are right about the flying machine, it would never be able to fly. But the tank you saw in this video is actually very similar to Leonardo's real-life design. They've tried to build it base on this design, using only materials and means available during that time and it actually works. But again, you are right in another thing: it can't move on difficult terrain.
@gamingfrendly avatars.jurko.net click "best" and just keep looking. There are lots of cool avatars there :)
@Arcius_Azrael @ mikey1611 But i repeat that Leonardo's ideas were very advanced just i believe it is going a bit far to claim he invented these advanced modern machines.
@Arcius_Azrael @ mikey1611 yes i know there are historic records of a (kind of) tank like thing and a sort of flying machine but they never actually worked and had no chance of working, the flying machine i think is obviously not flyable and if the hut on wheels was going to be moved by people then they would have to be very strong and hard working to move both their own wait + that of the thing itself (even if it was mechanic (& if the mechanics worked)) and they would never be able to go up hill because it would be to much hard work, down hill with out crashing or across even slightly ruff terrain and there were so many floors and problems with these ideas. dont get me wrong his ideas were very advanced its just that they would never actually work. But (I'm talking facts here) the tank was created by the British during the first world war. The plain was created in America by the wright brothers (based on a model made by a British inventor), and the helicopter was invented by a French person (although China wrongly claims they invented it because of a very little spiny thing that i believe was some sort of toy but actually did not resemble the helicopter and was not intended to be (there is a difference between a simple toy and a very complicated vehicle)) Anyway the difference between the modern tank and Leonardo's idea is vastly different and the same goes for the plain in comparison to Leonardo's flying machine.
I'm not sure if I like where this is heading. I prefer running around all day and climbing buildings.
Awesome gameplay as always! One question. WHY IS THERE STILL NO CROUCH BUTTON!?? I would generally consider that an invalualble ability for stealth based gameplay.
surely dan brown didn't see this coming, da vinci in the cycle of assassins! haha!! really like the fights, look like a beautiful choreographed dance!! only wish that we get to to dye our clothes again!!!
