Which Assassin's Creed game is the best? Assassin's Creed, AC II, AC Brotherhood or AC Revelations? You can also vote for Assassin's Creed III. I'll count the votes when they get to 100.

As a true AC fan I love them all. Even Bloodlines, Altair's Chronicles and Discovery. But if I really have to choose one it is AC II.

played them all multiple times. but part 2 had an impact that the others haven't even come close to for me. as far as story/characters at least. would be awesome if part 3 was as good, alot of years go by in it so much can happen.

Emotionally I found Revelations the best. The way that you watch Altair's life slowly come to a close it just beautiful.

Im a huge AC fanboy so they are all good to me. But if I had to choose it would be a tossup between 2 and brotherhood.

Although I liked all the platform games, none of them impacted me like AC1 and AC2. Ac1 introduced me to the AC universe, and is the sole reason why I bought the rest, despite its apparent flaws. It was original, memorable, and very simplistic, yet it was fun. AC2 took things to the next level; a true sequel in its own right. This is probably the most impacting out of all the AC games, because it drastically changed the way I perceived Assassin's Creed. Two hidden blades, economy, property, time-period, blending, scavenging, side-missions, rewards, arsenal, EVERYTHING was overhauled in ACII. ACB and ACR didn't have such drastic changes; they stuck with most of what ACII introduced, and expounded on it. For the most part however, there was nothing that was uniquely and drastically different about the overall AC experience in ACB and ACR, at least not like ACII was to AC1.

So, ACII was the most impacting, but, however, I do seem to enjoy ACB the most. Although certain aspects of ACR are preferable to ACB, such as the recruitment system and hookblade, the story is however not. Not to mention, the den defense system is really quite frustrating at times. I preferred the original style of freeing an area by killing a captain and being done with it. Assassins are supposed to be covert, not engaging in open battles, unless compromised. This flies in the face of one of the Creed tenets: always remain discreet. Ezio is the Grandmaster Assassin, but still, he shouldn't take the tenets as mere guidelines. They're more than that. They make Assassins who they are.

But I digress, ACR offered some good and bad stuff, but I think ACB has the better story. This, coupled with a few good upgrades and the absence of den defense, not to mention the preferred setting, is why I like ACB the most. But ACII is very close. ACII has the best story out of all; the best atmosphere and feeling... It totally out-shines the rest in these areas.

I vote AC2. It was a true classic. The first game was interesting but got repetitive, something the second game fixed. Brotherhood improved on AC2's gameplay but I found the story to be lacking. Revelations was a waste of time imo, I lost interest in the series until I saw how amazing AC3 looked at e3.

My vote goes to AC2,simply one of the best of what ubisoft has to offer, correction, one of the best of what the WORLD has to offer(you heard me)I've played all the console games and bloodlines,

I found AC1 to be a bit repetitive(been said a million times probably but, meh)although I have nothing but respect for AC1,I wasn't a fan of the gameplay but the story was just breathtaking.

Bloodlines was simply straightforward,it just reminded me of AC1,not much for the story tho.

I'm not a fan of Brotherhood, aside from the oh so worthless multiplayer(goes for revelations too)it wasn't as good a story as its predecessor, some elements makes it worth while, such as the new weapons, the counter kill combo(whatever it is)and of course, the brotherhood, hence the title.

Revelations was what I call the end of an era(duh)its smart yet creative story and past elements as well as new elements(I love bombs )makes up for an incredibly short session in the story mode, indeed you will be missed Ezio.

I can't say anything for AC3,seeing the previews just screams out buy me,the new elements, the 1000+ foot soldiers per screen, blew me away,my next history lesson.Hoping I can cope with this Native American/British dude, see how he ranks up next to legends such as Ezio and Altair.

While I have enjoyed each game, my personal favorite is ACB. I remember being incredibly excited about AC when it was first being advertised (it was during a commerical while watching South Park...hah) and when I first played it. However, as most people say, in hindsight it is quite repetitive. AC2 had many great and enjoyable improvements, but I found ACB to be a bit better. I replayed ACB the most, loved the map the most, and even found the soundtrack to be the best (don't have a swell reason, it just stands out to me the most). I thought ACR wrapped Ezio's story up nicely, but I liked Rome better than Constantinople. I have great expectations for AC3, and I suspect that with its new elements coupled with Desmond's conclusion I will enjoy it the most.

Constantinople would've been far better if there was some countryside to traverse.

I liked Brotherhood the best with AC2 a close second. I liked the gameplay and mechanic improvements in ACB although having it mostly in one city took away some of the immense feeling I got from AC2. I thought Revelations was the weakest of all four.

Brotherhood is the best one, In Revelations i loved more the Hookblade. As i feel AC3 will get the lowest score.

It's not only about game quality, options or features. It's about based tactics. Every single game that began with old weapons and armors and those stuff............. then in the next series they have add a Guns to the game it will be Epic fail.

Normal weapons if the best. it's AC this how it started. We don't need guns. Even the bombs in revelation i think it was not needed after all.

I think adding a few new types of bombs would've been sufficient. The Caltrop Bomb, Lethal Bomb, and Diversion bombs would've been enough. Imo, they shouldn't have focused so much on bomb-craft. It wasn't needed. The hookblade was interesting and I kinda liked it myself, but I'm glad they didn't carry it over into AC3.

Honestly, I'm glad they're moving a little more towards gun-play. But I don't think I would like it too much if it got any further from what it is now. Guns in the 18th Century are supposed to take a long time to reload. I didn't like how the Janissaries in Revelations were so quick when reloading. It really should be a one-time thing during battle, not something to be re-used in mere seconds.
