- The Bottom Line:
- "All flash, no substance"
At first, you get a slap with the efforts given to the graphics. The first assassination are pretty entertaining. But then you start to get annoyed with the control that does not get any better with time, then the assassination are actually everything you are about to do.
This game has it all actually, long cinematics with nothing happening, non-immersive fights where the enemies can sometimes keep on coming, difficult control that makes you often jumps next to your target (meaning down a cliff or in the water....), the collectables are way too many, 100 in the kingdom plus 30 per city(3 or 4 of them) plus the 60 templars to kill...the list goes on. Oh and the civilians...between the beggers that will definitely piss you off and the crazy ones that pushes you when you pass close,....oh boy those ones....not mentioning (actually mentioning) the pickpockets sequences that can take up to 20 tries before you give up...
All in all a big effort in the visual to hide a poor story.
I won't go for the sequels.

My impressions after beating Assassin's Creed. It's as repetitive as they say, but still good.
