ahahaha!! after reading a few comments it reminds me of the old counterstrike days of campers !! actually in bf3 the sniping player has to have a great deal of skill. And if your not "war" minded and rush in the game "cod" style where camping isn't as prominent due to the small map sizes and DIFFERENT game play style yo uwill get shot !! at least now with the new close qtr maps it will compensate the "cod" players enjoying bf3 too being a more "cod" friendly map pack !!! haha i ll see you on there trying to use my assault rifle efficiently without camping, cottaging or any other term used these days, and have some fun !! welcomed pack indeed and bf rocks !! (and i do own all cod's too !!)
lol, this is the only way i play recon if i ever do. recon i just plain boring otherwise
to all those replying to me i know what the package is it looks great if youget it all now but you get the final exp in 2013 not sure about you guys but ill most likely be playing halo 4 and borderlands 2 by then.

stop being a sniper & start training to be marksman ...... throw a holographic on the 98B "aka barrit" and a magnum as a sidearm .... & now go on see how well u'll do right there with those on ... if u didn't do well ... u shouldn't play with the sniper no more ...

@boixwunder Ecactly my point! Now it has a bit of COD gameplay but with much more interesting maps!
@zowbaid Totally agree. Recon players are detrimental to the team in original maps and close quarters.
@jayd02 I haven't gotten this map yet, but I will. I'm not sure where he was croutched at, but if it was next to the objective, then I don't consider that camping, I consider that defending. BF3 is meant to be tactical, not fast-paced like COD, although it can sometimes get fast-paced. So players shouldn't be running around like mad men, they should be moving slow and stopping at certain spots to defend their flanks and to back up team-mates that are moving through different rooms and going down hallways.
1 Like @darkwolf1459 i agree with you. If you are at an objective then sit down and protect that place. He said sit next to a door with the motion sensor and wait, that is camping.
@jayd02 @darkwolf1459 Then you are correct, and he was indeed camping. Which means I agree with your early post as well, and shame that he is basically supporting campers.
Here's my tip: Unlock the M TAR-21 assignment. It's a beast, even more so when you put the fore grip and flashlight on it in the close quarters maps. Running around with the stupid EOD bot to get that one kill with the blow torch sucked but it was well worth it. I've already been on a server where the admins have banned it. It will probably get "fixed" with a patch to make it less powerful down the road so get it while it's hot.
4 Like long range recon are mostly useless, and unfortunately we have too many idiots who think they are hot shots.
spawn beacon and the t-ugs is all you need, but the t-ugs radar is the most importnat here and on noshar canals
spas-12 buckshot isn't that good, at least on xbox, if your on xbox i suggest slug rounds, they kill in one shot pretty far out
its really nice but the shut gun have to be used for the close targets but i sow in that video he shot him from far away when he use the spas-12
but its ok but i think the company want to make the like its real and i say good job

It's so weird, because this place was made to give our opinions but everytime someone says something negative, all the fanboys just come with insults or calling it as "whining"....
@dalua360 Aha, so the 'game' said that COD sucked? Who said anything about COD sucking? I played them all, starting with COD2 :) I understand what u are trying to say but what I mean is: "If u don't like it, dont buy it but stop complaining about DICE being money-horny developwhores." I really don't understand why one should compare BF with COD, as they are both totally different kinda shooters. :)

Don't you see what I meant before? There's no valid complaint for you guys, the only acceptable comment here is: "this game is awesome"... that guy is a fan of big map shooters, and it's obvious that he is upset with the fact that BF3 should focus on something that differentiates from CQB stuff ( I remember lots of BF fans saying that COD is sh*t because it's only CQB and you can't even use snipers as they should to be used), so..... the big irony here is DICE doing the same thing as COD does ( for profit of course) and everybody is supporting them because it's good! Of course it's good!!! we all know that DICE is an awesome developer, but what that guy is saying it has nothing about quality, it is conceptual, all about the concept of CQB having focus on a game that was always the opposite of COD, on a game that always said that COD s*cks due to its fast paced run and gun nonsense, got it? Oh the irony!!!
@dalua360 Obviously u can say negative things if you like; but this is a very nice expansion with a lot of value for his money and if you don't like it, just don't buy it instead of whining and whining. Dice delivers quality here and that is the truth and nothing but the truth!
2 Like Just when you drop those spawn beacons, face the way you want to be facing when you spawn in. If you place it while facing a wall, like in this video, your beacon view will be looking into a wall and will suck to spawn on, as well as, discourage your squad from it bc there is no view.
Field of battle? More like sardines in a tin-can. Since BF is so focused on getting the COD crowd, maybe Activision will start making battlefield games and we can just make a switch lol :p
the bes kit for me is p90 with laser sight and hip fire like crazy also REX or Glock for faster more suppressive handgun...
