You can tell the video was played on a console because of the horrible aiming is by both people around :33 seconds. This could be fun but now that Arma 3 Alpha is out, I dunno how much I will play it.
@LukeWesty I agree with that. BF2 might be a bit flaky by today's standard in the genre but at least it was a fundamentally decent game with the biggest emphasis on teamwork and strategy over unlock trees and "skill".
1 Like @LukeWesty The worse thing about is that EA DICE didn't provide any support. Only the first patch -for obvious reasons- and this last one contain some true bug fixes. They are gonna leave it completely unpolished. BF4 and fast-made DLCs got full priority at the expense of BF3 itself.
We lost the 'right' for a properly released game, long time ago. Now, EA DICE went one step further... We're going to lose even the 'right' for aftersale support, seemingly because, none seems to care that the game still has many bugs and glitches.
For this reason I din't buy any DLCs except the B2K that came with my pre-order. They only release balance adjustments, which means, they kept playing with numbers on a .txt file in order to be able to say: "here, we're working to provide support".
And then, you start wondering why corps like EA DICE keep treating us like... s***. Would be great if gamers could be united in every aspect. The opposite those corps want.
1 Like @PC-EliTiST That about sums it up. First, DICE doesn't have the talent to fix most of the bugs and glitches in the game. They have a great engine and the core idea of BF is great, but when it comes to the nuts and bolts game programming, they are sadly lacking. Their games are just plain clunky compared to the much smoother titles in the genre. Even their attempts adjusting game balance are terribly inconsistent and often create more problems then they solve.
Secondly, EA is simply too cheap to pay to cost of patching their broken games. Look at games like CoD, Halo and Starcraft. Look at how often those games get patched and they didn't have anywhere near as many problems as most of the titles EA publishes to begin with.
1 Like @Whiskey3romeo @PC-EliTiST Agree. They needed to fix and polish the game. Still have a lot of bugs on B2K maps. AK and Close Quarter were some of the most stupidest DLC. Aftermath is a decent one. This new DLC... spent the day playing on all modes with it. The new Capture the Flag is good. AS is a big mess since the totally take out below radar and air radar is not working properly. I have seen more air collisions than actual kills in a match.

3 Like For those of you who think that motorcycles are ridiculous in a combat scenario its actually a requirement that many special operations soldiers be trained to use them in combat scenarios because they are highly maneuverable fast easily maintained and motorcycles have been modified since ww2 with mounts for sub machine guns and pistols

If we didn't have it in World at War, Black Ops 1, the equivalents in Halo, Gears of War, etc, etc. It's not exactly a new thing, just another game mode rehashed by CoD. Not hating on CoD, they have the gunplay down to a tee, but it's not gamechanging.

And seeing a game were the cover art includes a man on the back of a moving motorcycle firing a crossbow is about all i need to see to know its made for little kids.

Wow I gotta say the animation for the IFV drop is really cool! I wish they added some components of the expansion packs to older maps though.

Now where's the Rally Cars with the rocket launchers and Mini guns ..hahahahah.. this game's starting to turn into some kind of Post Apocalyptic " I don't know what else to do but let's add dirtbikes..so we can earn more money" kinda theme from a Developer standpoint

@djpetitte I think you need to take into the consideration that I clicked reply to the wrong person instead of being so rude, especially given that, upon closer inspection, I was ratifying your point vs undermining it.
@djpetitte Clearly you aren't military, because motorcycles are used quite liberally. So while firing a rocket from the back of one isn't 'realistic', neither is congregating around poles raising and lowering flags, or however many tanks contesting a flag, or a bunch of people endlessly killing each other and respawning for points. Pick you battles man (no pun intended), and try not to take everything to heart. You want realistic, go and play ArmA

Has anyone else who has premium on ps3 not been able to install endgame yet as there seems to be plenty of servers for it but I can't install it to join any of them
