I do once in a while and usually get a positive response back. I just had a really good game on Damavand Peak and sent a GG to a few level 100 colonels. It was really close and went back and forth for a while with my team getting the upper hand at the end and winning with 29 tickets. One guy responded with a "Yeah ok" and the other didn't respond at all. Guess they were upset ha.

I tend no to send any messages to anyone outside my friends list. But one time I had a really competent Vodnik Driver while I was on the gun. Gave me good angles, knew when to retreat, and everything. Sent him a message telling him good driving and he sent one back saying good shooting.

I do quite a lot. I like to spread the message that not all gamers are grumpy little teenagers who cry/rage just because they lose. Most people reply with a 'cheers' or 'thx'.

Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside

I would, but knowing my luck I'd get kicked from the server for some reason.

I was kicked the other day because my entire squad were standing around waiting for a IFV to spawn and I flashed my laser at them.

The current setup really makes it too inconvenient to do so... I mean SOCOM had the lobby chat window where you could type and address everyone w/ your gg, and Halo let you talk to the whole lobby after the game was over so you could share your ggs or trash talk to get amped for the next round or whatever.

I would need a really good reason to want to go through the hassle of messaging an enemy team member, even more so to message multiple enemy team members...

Well you could plug in your mic, jump to the other team yell "GG GUYS" then quit.

You're a random. Your opinion means nothing.
God damn it that's not all, if one of those fanboys gets down here that will be all all this this good stuff you think is important you can kiss all that goodbye.

I did this once back in the original Bad Company days. I had a bit of a sniper duel with another player and afterwards I sent him a message saying "nice sniping" or something like that. He responded "thanks, you too." That was the only time I've ever messaged the other side after a match. I figure they're more likely to be a douche back to you, or think you're trolling them or something like that.

You had a game but both of Those 100 colonels were kind of pathetic for having so much play time

Not the other team. But say I get in a chopper with a random person. Without any communication, we have an awesome run. I will send them a GG.

Just yesterday some guy not even in my squad kept ending up with me in a tank. We wrecked the whole field, 10k+ points and won 4 matches in a row carrying our team (we were the only colonels). I love finding those rare good randoms.

The other day some guy on the enemy team and I were both fighting really hard for first place on Seine Crossing. In the end I beat him out by a few hundred points. I sent him a "Good Game" message and he invited me to his party. I played against him for another 3 rounds, beating him every time. I think he was level 100, too. It was fun.

I have done it once..... 8 games in a row where me and this guy somehow kept killing each other.....it was a rather intresting set of matches..... we basically had a counter to everything we had......

I've done it a couple of times. but usually only after we play a couple of matches (or one really long match) against each other. The guy would have to leave some kind of impression with how he played that would cause me to respect him as an adversary rather than hate him....... Its only happened 2-3 times.

They were still better than a lot of people I come across and they were running a full squad. It was a competitive game at least, but like I said that Quick guys response made it seem like he wasn't too happy with the result.
Also I played a guy who was pretty good running the MP7 one time. Our the game wasn't balanced and they had 3 more people then us so I invited him to my party and he switched to my side to help out. Pretty cool guy to do that considering they had us trapped a A flag on Metro. We ended up winning the game too.

I'm sure it was competitive. But I was just saying Those dudes should be a lot better with 600+ hours.

I'm curious to see there SPM before their massive playtime came into account

Bleh I hate when people GG me. They only do it after they WON. Never when it's close and they lost. It's like a sneaky way of rubbing it in your face.

Haha I didn't even think of that. I've only sent them on close games that I won or lost that I enjoyed and weren't just blow outs.
