@snipalube The guys were terrific. But these were PC players/Xbox players playing on oversensitive PS3 controllers. Even on low settings, those PS3 joysticks could really mess you up! I am proud of all these guys adapting so well and not complaining once of the controls. We had fun. You would have to if you were there.
@xboxfanonly Oh no. Don't get me wrong mate. It's just that, as someone who didn't have a powerful pc to run Battlefield 2 back in the day ( and still don't have one, BF3 is but a wild dream), I was happy to have this game for my console. But I was afraid that the visuals, frame-rate, texture pop-in and screen tearing would plague the PS3 version like so many other ports had in the past. But after watching these videos, I'm convinced. The visuals are a plus, finally playing battlefield? Priceless! :)
Did anyone see just after the 00:40 mark where his teammate went prone? Oh ya, going to love this! My only concern with this installment is going to be the lag if any. Bad Company 2, as great as it was, was kind of laggy on console's. Nevertheless, I'll be enjoying this on Sept 29th!
I should be playing the beta right now. but EA (or Dice or whoever is responsible for handing out the codes) havnt given me mine yyet! its just pure negligence and im getting very upset about it right now!
Should I make a new acount just for the beta since my xbl gold ran out like 4 days ago? I will get one month free right? and can I use my same e-mail? but yeah, this is on ps3 right, and well, it looks sweet.
lol what is with people and "oh no its a console game" This isnt the first. Im sure it will have less people and thats most of the difference right there. Everything else is pretty trivial.
OMG this IS the console version ??? it looks really but really good!! almost like PC! (actually I dont see much difference) hell yeah! BF3 pre-order: NOW!
The sound is a little crazy. But I didn't expect the PS3 version to look this good. I'm convinced, all my fears are put to rest. pre-ordering!
Looked pretty standard to me...and I'm not a fan of the animations while aiming down the sights either. I'll try the beta though.
