Chris Watters leaves a path of destruction in this video review for Battlefield: Bad Company 2.
Im thinking about getting bad company 2 and this vietnam pack is there alot of people still playing ???
This game is much nicer on the PC if you can run it. It also supports 32 players vs the 24 on consoles.
I got this for a great deal on steam Battlefield 2, Vietnam, and a Kit pack ALL for $9.99 STEAM ROCKS!!
I just can't get over how bad of a game this was. It's just, I mean...seriously? A 9? Did I get a broken version or what, because there were so many glitches, pop ins, AI issues, wayyyy to much haze, story line issues. It is just such an overrated game!
You know what's funny. You can play the game with an XBOX gamepad. On a PC! Which usually has got keybord and mouse attached to it! An FPS on a PC with a gamepad! How did this PC genre became so consoled I cannot say
@bazamaza Get this game, it's a lot better than Black Ops. But it really depends what play style you prefer. If you like dying a lot then get Black Ops. But if you like tactical and vehicular combat. Get this one.
Why is there not an offline conquest mode like the old battlefield games? If it is because of the destruction and the bots not being able to cope with it, why not have a mode offline where there are no explosions, the bots and my character only have basic guns, they could use the AI of Battlefield 2 and it should work, or else have a mode offline where the maps behave like the old games and do not get destroyed. I like the idea of a focused single player campaign, but I would like to be able to play on the MP maps offline, where I can choose which map to play on when I want, rather than having to play what ever other people are playing, but the main reason I want bots offline is because of my crap internet connection.
(below) Retriraver You r so right! GAMESPOT points system needs to be scraped. They (GS) needs to be more detailed on how a game gets it's points. COD=9.0 & BF2BC=9.0 no way it's to generic. The ratings should break downn the game so it can differentiate between the 2.
@bazamaza- I said this game isn't like COD.11 thumbs down,1 thumbs up.Personally I don't enjoy the game but that doesn't mean it's a bad game and it's probably dropped in price while BO is full price.
@bazamaza If you already have Modern Warfare 2, don't buy Black Ops, get Bad Company 2. In my opinion, Black Ops' multiplayer isn't as fun as Modern Warfare, and the campaign is just silly. Battlefield has really, really good multiplayer. I haven't touched the campaign, however.
Hey do u know witch game to buy cuz I'm not shure I'm thinking of buing this or Black Ops pls tell me witch i better. ps. sry for the english =]
How is this game Not rated higher than the COD games? COD is good in it's own right, but the destructible environments and vehicles put this game ahead in my book. I thought MW2 was great till I played BFBC2. There is a lack of as many game types, but the ones there are as good as the best of COD. Haven't played console versions, but the PC version looks great. Too bad it's a port and could have looked even better....
i decided to take a leap of faith a buy this game it's on sale on steam for 13 bucks so win win for me lol
Haven't played the Singleplayer because it keeps resetting from scratch everytime i try to reload it. But the Multiplayer is the best i've played in years.
@hopeless007 I would say about 7-8 hrs. Campaign mode isn't that great. Still the design is great and it is a fun campaign. But multiplayer is key feature here.
Screams buy me now! I have had this game since it first came out and it has really dropped in price too! Its all about what you can do on multiplayer. Any glitches in multiplayer have been solved with a few patches. So ignore any previous comments. If you compare to COD this totally powns it! On my Q9300 quad and 8800GTS 512mb on high settings @1280x1024 it plays really really well!
