Cannot wait for this. My PS3 has been the single best investment I've put forward to.

Very, very hyped for this game.

Because not everything has to be a shooter.  And that's okay.  In fact, it's fantastic.

Boooooooo, boreing. After the developer hyped people up with his Kara demo, he ends up showing us a trailer that absolutley SUCKED.

This game got destroyed by Watch Dogs. Watch Dogs ruled E3. No-one cares about Beyond.

@innocent69 Ever wondered that only you, yourself, personally do not prefer games like these??

Watch Dogs, Splinter Cell Blacklist, Far Cry 3, Hitman Absolution....

And Dishonored if they stick to the quality showed in their CGI trailer.

Both the girl here and in the Last of us looks like Ellen Page. Nice to know that game companies have agreed on making a new female character design that may (or may not) get overused later on.

@DB2538 I already own a PS3, but if I didn't I'd definitely get one now not only for Beyond and Last of Us but thanks to Sony's Pub fund there are some good indie games coming to PS3 as well.

Can't wait to see what Quantic Dream has up their sleeve in terms of gameplay. Heavy Rain and Indigo Prophecy were both so different from the standard fare of games. It's admirable to see a company really going out on a limb and trying to create something enthralling and unique, yet still highly accessible.

For me Heavy Rain was a start of a new genre of video game.Looks like people at Quantic Dream are a bunch of rebels that don`t like to play by the rules and Beyond Two Souls could be another one of their masterpiece...we just have to wait and see...

Being a Wii + 360 owner, Japan Studio's and Quantic Dream's games are the only ones that I really wanted to play but I couldn't. Looks damn good...

I've always loved every Quantic Dream game. And this one will be David Cage's baby.

This game absolutely amazed me. I loved Heavy Rain and it looks like Quantic Dream has stepped it up even further. Seems like Quantic and Naughty Dog are on a whole other level when it comes to writing story lines. When I think of the idea that games might become more like interactive movies, I picture games like this.

I've played Heavy Rain, Indigo Prophecy, and Episode 1 of : The Walking Dead. There is something enjoyable, but also similar in all these games. They give you control, but not too much. The stories may not be for everyone, but they are all deep, and engaging. I wonder if this is a direction more developers are going to go. Kind of like the Western RPG's. After elder scrolls: morrowind, Star Wars Kotor, and Jade Empire, we get Fallout 3, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Demon Souls, Kingdoms of Amalur, Skyrim, and Dragons Dogma. Telltale games has been carving a small niche doing this with Licensed games, Jurrassic Park, Back to the Future and now(and arguably their best) The Walking Dead. While none hold a candle to the production values of Heavy Rain, or their new IP, "Beyond", it seems as though one company likes this style of play and is running with it. Just wonder if other companies will do the same

Action and puzzles, all that I need. This game is supposed to be perfect.

When I saw this my mind went officially "BLOWN' status, lol. I hate risk sounding like a Sony fangirl (trust me, can't stand fools that act 'tard like that, lol), but in all honesty it's games and such like this that make me glad to be a PS3 gamer. Hate on them if you want, but I don't think anybody can knock the fact that Sony is not afraid let devs get creative and unique w/ such niche projects like this and get stand behind them wholeheartedly.

The beauty of this game is unreal. It's devs like Quantic Dream & Naughty Dog that blow that whole bs, lazy argument that some devs have about doing games for the PS3 ('yes', surprising some still use such excuses).

Well there's little doubt that this will be a great game, as long as it's not one big qucktime event like Heavy Rain was.

@buying1999 I am sorry but I have to tell you, it will be another series of quicktime events. Hopefully, they find some better people to write the story this time.

waffles89

@Ronaldo27 Didn't you see Guy Cocker's review of the gameplay, it's going to be different from Heavy Rain with alot more focus on action, the prompts that pop up are apparently only for things like opening doors and stuff like that.

is it actually a game this time, or an interactive movie? 'cause if i wanted movies, i'd, you know watch a movie. if i wanted a lengthy movie, i'd watch a miniseries.

quantic dream's "experiences" don't really appeal to me, sorry. i want to PLAY games, not occasionally interact with my movie.

nrkouba215
nrkouba215

@BrunoBRS totally see where youre coming from, the only thing is with HR as im assuming will be the case in this game, the choices you make effect the world greatly, they make a snowglobe size world for you to interact in as opposed to a movie, just playing devils advocate though, room for everyones opinion

I hate it ppl say it, but i gotta tell you: "If you don't like it, don't play it". I think it will be interesting to see how it turns out, also just about every game with a campaign is like a movie, they hardly let you venture out where you want and filled with scenes.
