Shaun takes a look at some new Borderlands 2 footage at Comic-Con 2012.
I'm glad to see a shared stash in the main game. Not having one in a 2012 randomly-generated loot-based action RPG would be an oversight bordering on incompetence. It's been a standard feature in loot-based games since Titan quest, and makes muling much easier.
It was possible to create a second account and use characters there to stash and/or mule loot, but it took time away from playing the game.
My only gripe, and it's a minor one, is that the classes don't seem to be gender-selectable. This is another feature that's standard in action RPGs that feels notable for its absence here. As I said, though, it is a minor problem given that there is a female character in the base game and another one in planning stages as an add-on.
@CalamityKate so you want to play as salvadora and honestly if that was an option i wouldnt want to see that
@blate45 No. I'd like to see gender selection as an option for each of the playable classes. The key word here is option. Anyone not wanting to use this option would still be free to use the default skin or one of the others.
That said, it's a minor quibble given that there are going to be female playable characters in the game. It's more along the lines of an additional feature I'd like to see rather than something whose absence would prevent me from getting the game.
@CalamityKate I'd say I agree, having the option to play as either gender would be nice, like a male Siren (if that's even possible lore-wise?) and any else as female. I've discussed that with my friend who's an equal Borderlands fan as me xD
werent you able to the the stash thing on the preview one or im confussing this? maybe the box didnt communicated in between character? hmmm
@chang_1910 There was a stash added in the Mad Moxxi DLC, but you said it - it didn't work between characters. The stash was character-specific.
