With Modern Warfare 3, Sledgehammer Games will be working with Infinity Ward on the single-player aspect of the game. It's funny that Raven Software will be working on the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer version; weapons, maps, perks and killstreaks. MW3 features a cooperative mode titled Special Ops too.

Don't miss out on the very first footage of Call of Duty 4 in this trailer.
I was a little dissapointed at first I mean ww2 was the greatest conflict in history and the nazis were the bad guys no matter what. I mean after they revealed what they were all about most of the Germans hated them in there own country. VE day was even celabrated in Germany in some parts. Well then again terrorists are nutjobs and badguys anyways so okay.
Finally, a major league game about the Global War on Terror. Ladies and Gentleman, this is our "Good Fight". I don't wanna play my Grandpa's war - that's over with. We still don't know who will win our war. I mean, we're pretty cocky now as a society, but let's just see how calm we will be when (not if) a terrorist is able to get a chemical or biological weapon in a major downtown Western city. We know that's Al Queada's goal, so let's not waste time with all this Politically Correct BS.
Well, coming from Ireland I have family and relatives that were hung drawn and quartered by the British in the past, even having events that lead right up in to the present in the north of Ireland were throughout my lifetime blood has been shed. End of the day a game is a game, made up of polygons and pixels and the battle represented if fictional. In fact, it is better that it is a fictional war than basing it on World War 2, because that was real, and every German killed was someone?s son or daughter too and they believed there were the good guys fighting a good war. When it comes down to it, killing another human being is NEVER acceptable but in games we aren?t really hurting anyone. In multiplayer you can kill whatever nation you want, in fact in many games you can be the so called good guys or bad guys. Take BF2 for example, you can go around as a Arab and kill Americans, or visa versa, but it isn?t offending anyone because it is just a game, go out on the street and shoot someone for real, then we have a problem and a nut bag who with or without games needs to be locked up. Only see a game for what it is ?A Game?, if they want to make a game about British Killing Irish, fine! Just let me shoot the British in the multiplayer. If they want to make a game about my relative being murdered by British soldiers and put his face on the model, well then they?ve gone over the line.
Call of Duty I & II are the "classics" of video-games about world war, which can be played for years. The one and only enemy in the whole game were the Nazis, who are already named as "bad"s by most of the nations. CODI&II don't show any racist and self-seeking behaviour, just fight against Nazis in the name of USA, UK and RU thru the ambiance and experience of the world war. Today, what Activision and Infinity Ward had with this COD4, is simply the "opposite way" of the main reason to "just have fun". Showing any Arabian country/nation cannot be tolerated especially nowadays. I believe that the video game developers and distributers should point on some real themes, like Vietnam, World War etc... But what about then opposite side? What if then a company develops a video game about Pearl Harbor, that Japanasee are attacking on USA navy? What if then you are playing one of the Viet-Kong shooting an USA soldier? What about then blowing up a whole building like 11th of September? Who has the judge to evaluate and make critics on video games? Developers? Or we the players? You may still think that nobody will hurt by killing some "numerical" guys on the screen, but be sure that some innocent people like women, children and babies are killed in those "unnamed(!)" countries, yet today. If you will buy this game, and I am sure you will, first imagine you lost all the persons in your family, all your relatives, friends who were living near your home, by a bomb or AK47 bullets, even there were no reason, except just killing a couple of bodies nearby... Alper TURAN (Istanbul/Turkey)
Looks Awesome and its gonna be better shootin enemys with latest guns like AK47 handguns and many more
Differents gamers describe this game one of the best graphics had never seen in modern combat war. This Call of Duty is the best of other game war.
@joaoalencar: A Russian warlord stages a coup in an unnamed Middle-Eastern country, starting a conflict there that is meant to distract world powers while he builds up a powerful army in Russia. That's pretty much all I know.
Is this about Iraq, Afghanistan, or what? Terrorists with superior firepower than they do now? What is going on here?
Damn!!! Modern Wafare?!?!? COD was a great game because it was all 'bout "fight the good fight" war, like WWII, not some stupid "fight for your oil pits" war, like most modern/middle east conflicts... Lousy choice... I might as well look for my share of WWII combat elsewhere... I'm terribly disappointed... :(
I think that I well like this new modern warfare call of duty and I think that more people want newer weapons to fight with.
part 3 is true engineering in games military, I hope that this part is not single graphs and nothing else
OMG!!!! call of duty is surposed to be a WWII game, NOT A FLIPPIN MODERN DAY ONE, highly disapointed.
Not cool, why do all game makers feel the need to folow the trends. there are so manny stories left in WWII.
