I still prefer Battlefield games. They have more reality in them and they're not so quirky. I especially like EA/Dice's ability to put sounds of actual weapons and vehicles into their games. The COD franchise has been around long enough but they still haven't figured out how to do that. And where is the destroyable environment? COD is still fun but in different ways.
This game doesn't look as crapy as i thought it would. They do seem to be adding things to this game, unlike before. I still would like to see many more changes. This game is only taking baby steps in the right direction but at least it's going in the right direction. There's no way I would buy it but still..... Looks like they're trying harder than they were before.

Fix the whole "getting shot without actually being shot" problem. I hate watching myself die in a killcam from bullets tearing through the column of air beside me. Also, Scavenger needs to not refill claymores and noobtube rounds. That needs to stop. Do that and I'll be happy.

An utter rehash of the same bullshit from the last 4 years. I mean come on, they can't even change the death animations let alone the guns. Big deal a couple new game types and the same graphics...

Don't really understand why people are saying this game looks the same(same as what?). This has been the most change in a COD game since COD4 if you ask me, scorestreaks and king of the hill mode? Seriously because are just hating on COD for no reason nowadays. I understand that MW3 looked like COD4 but this actually does look different.
@Jmoolah95 Well it does look the same from a graphics standpoint. There haven't been any huge overhauls in the game (weapon modding aside), but it's not necessarily a bad thing. COD has its flaws, but it's fun (most of the time...)
This game looks like CRAP! pure crap and you guys are soaking it up like its gold. What has the gaming world come to???!!

@ragnar320 Actually they destroyed the run and gunning in this game with the all new scorestreaks. If you die too fast then you won't be seeing and rewards like airstrikes or UAVs.
@Jmoolah95 It's all still run and gun, it just helps to do other things too (like capturing things). It doesn't really seem like it will greatly affect TDM or Free-for-All (streaks could be earned slowly through assists and headshots, but nothing game changing).
@colonel112 Guns have been a strong suit for COD, so I'm not too worried about that. I am, however, worried that I'm still going to get killed by people not even aiming at me and having to watch the frustrating replay. I also worry about excessive explosives and noobtubes.
oh joy..riot shields are back AND you can plant them on the ground for cover..can't wait to shit my pants in anger over that every time i play this game.... >.<
2 Like It's not quite the same. You got drones and mech vehicles, not to mention a whole slew of new gadgets. The campaign-outcome depends on our choice, and there's a new co-op experience as well. None of the other CoDs have these implementations. But the game is still, at its core, very similar to the others. But that's because it's Call of Duty. I don't understand what you hope to expect from a new Call of Duty game... but at this point Call of Duty is like Tekken or Street Fighter. The core of the game stays the same because it sells.
Im not buying any shooter game until they fix the CHEATERS issue. Especially COD. I cant play online with every crazy guy who wants to ruin the game for his own pleasure.
1 Like when they announced their title, I tho8 Blackops 2 z going 2 b da same blackops wit few tweaks! After I saw da first trailer I tho8 'Treyarch finally did sum notable changes 2 da campaign but their MP z going 2 b a mix of MW n BO'. but this trailer proved that Treyarch z not interested in iterations as IW. They've done vat I wanted except their out dated graphics. I'm dead sure that Activision z not going 2 spend their money on new engine until da next gen consoles arrive
6 Like I'll give the game one thing; it does look different than the others, but my one issue is that it's still painfully obvious that the game is still running on tech developed in 2004. There's only so much polishing and refinement you can do to the foundation of a game until you say to yourself, "We need a new game engine." It's like putting a fresh coat of paint on a Ford Pinto; It'll be bright and shiny, but it's still a Pinto. Am I being unfair?
Hopefully the weapons actually have some REAL SOUND this time. That was the most annoying part of MW3.
3 Like Speaking as a fan of both COD and Battlefield, people wanted change and something different with the presentation. So far it looks cool, I mean yeah you'll look and say all its is the futuristic versions of Stingers, heartbeat sensors, flashbangs and riot shields. But this is the first video out and I'm pretty sure theres alot more too come before we all can say COD is washed up. Now me in general I'm just having staright up shooter fatigue so thats why even though I have both mw3 bf3, I've played bf3 more and only bought the first map pack for cod. When this comes out it will be wait and see for me, I won't be buying or reserving this first day out but I'll be intrigued by what new updates comes as november comes closer. For now I'll be on BF3 and the 3 nother new maps that are coming. But it will have its buys cause its a shooter monster whether you like it or not and secondly most people i know like treyarch products more than infinty wards. So its a toss up whether its a flop or not. Selling it will do that that thing is after christmas like in feb and march will it still be ruling online while bf3 map packs and Medal of honor Bioshock are out, along with Halo 4. Thats fun the fun of the wait and see method I guess.

2 Like Ive know that since bf2 and 2142 were out, it wasnt until after that that mw came out and got popular on console. at the time bf2 and 2142 were very popular on pc and were far better warfare games and till to this day are. theres no comparing bf to cod. Bf is in a league of its own.
