In my opinion, I will never mark a Call of Duty game as 'ambitious' as long as they keep the core mechanics COMPLETELY the same over all the games.
I'll be honest, I find the gameplay of COD a little repetitive, but I enjoy playing with a few friends. But, the line "He doesn't need his own weapons, he's got ours.", That got to me. I found that to be enticing enough to raise my hopes for this a little more.
The fanboys are probably gonna cut me up for this....
But this was really a disappointing trailer.... Didn't get me excited to buy the game at all. The MW3 trailer was miles more enticing.
I'm preordering the game and i'm donating my copy of noobtown to level designers of future shooters to learn on the mestakes of their predecessors.
will i won,t lie i love battle field and call of duty but i think this year game will be call of duty
looks cool. the drop trooper jetpack people have the same helmets as ODST people from halo though haha.
We all know what we are gunna get with this game. Same sh1t as every other! I've been a COD fan from the very start. I've been slightly disappointed with mod 3! It's pretty much a point n shoot game n that's it. Will still get this but only if it has zomobies! The fact that I still play zombies now is a testament to how good it is!
It looks good...but you know what we really want to see Activision, the multiplayer and or zombies
Hmm, not to bring this game down or any other COD series but the same things were said about the others and nothing has changed, it will lack a single player mode and capitalise on the multiplayer game with "packs", "dlcs" or whatever they want to call it.
More suckers, I'm glad I got out after COD:MW1.
1 Like The story for Black ops was very well done and very well made, It seems treyarch realises that the multiplayer in call of duty works (not that I'm a huge fan) and they focus more on making the player enjoy the game and be more engaged with it with modes such as Zombies and this new RTS thing they're releasing, that's the reason I will probably get this game, instead of playing modern warfare, where they gor basic weapons like the AK-47 (Which I think is a fine looking weapon) and put all these plastic bits and picatinny rails made it look like they were trying to make it look futuristic in the modern age.
1 Like I hope they do a collaboration with The Walking Dead in the zombie mode. And they need to show actual damage when you shoot enemies... You can shoot them 100 times and there won't be a single bullet hole.

loool never seizes to amaze me just how many people who claim to not care for cod, then turn up on the videos to trash talk. Anyhow this trailer looks interesting. The fact that David S. Goyer is the writer, gives me more faith in the story.
5 Like I was unimpressed by this game on the E3, but this trailer made me change my mind.
Even if you don't like CoD, you can't deny that Treyarch at least try different settings and experiments with different stuff on their games, for better or worse, unlike Infinity Ward which their last three games were practically the same, with same assets and all. MW3 even had the same menus than MW2, for Christ sake!
I'll be keeping an eye on this game, just for the campaign (I don't play MP anymore, on any game. The community always ruin it).
6 Like I know COD games are normally focused on multiplayer, but I hope this one has a decent single player mode.

@endorbr Seriously?? Same explosions, same mediocre visuals, same plotline, same painfully stupid dramatic voiceovers, unless you know something about the multiplayer, I have no idea what you're talking about.

Voice overs don't really have anything to do with the game. your forgeting about all the stuff treyarch is trying to do its what i call Blinded by arrogance.
@blackwing55 Visuals are worse than many games alteady released this gen, by explosions i mean the whole tone of the gameplay, the plot is still "evil foreigner gets dangerous weapons stop him by killing thousands of identical minions to save the world!!" Voiceovers show the tone of the story. If you consider the time element to be innovative, you are the ignorant one
1 Like I know it could be yet another generic CoD experience--which is fine; people will buy it by the millions--but it looks like they're at least trying to put some new energy into the franchise. That's not a bad thing.
woods looks like a zombie. come on, update your animation system already. we all know you have the money to do it, activision/treyarch.

anyone getting sick of all the ads on this website? 15-30 seconds of my life are wasted every time i want to watch a video. and most of the time it's the same bloody add...hateful

If this game is anything like The Dark Knight Rises will be then we're looking at one heck of a game.
