i hope its actually hard this time.. more importantly it could use sum tweaks to multiplayer which is the main reason i quit playing..(can't find any1 to invade, backstab broken, etc. in other words it got boring fast :/

Do you think this game will be good on pc? I have never played it but as it had really good review scores i'm thinking on buying it.

5 Like Don't know what it is about this game, but it has "IT"! I'm by no means a hardcore gamer. I'm 40+ and can't dazzle anyone with my hand-eye coordination, but I made it through Demon & Dark Souls and never got frustrated. You can actually get better with practice and learn lessons from death. Hope this series continues.
I'm playing this game again, and it's still just so epic! I can't believe I'm cracking out on this game...again... after I've already got the platinum so long ago. This is a must buy if you haven't played it before. If you're worried about being invaded, you can get around it. Just don't spend humanity on reviving.
There seems to be a DS vs Skyrim talk in here. Why can't you like them both? I love em both, but for completely different reasons. If you want to build a character however you want and do whatever you want, play skyrim. The beauty of Skyrim is the insane amount you can do. If you want amazing combat with unbelievably memorable moments, play DS. There's no way you can compare DS's combat to Skyrim's. DS blows it away.
@FroggyMcnasty Agreed. This is my new all-time favorite. I might even buy it again. (no promises there though)

5 Like totally going to buy the PC version, got 1000g on the xbox version and it's one of the best games I've ever played.DS deserved to win GOTY 2011, but the over-hyped, and over-rated Skyrim won due to fanboy hype.
10 Like Get it pc players, it is one of the best rpg games on the market if you are not afraid of a challenge. I finished the game 3 times on the ps3 and may play it on the pc too because it's that good and finally coming out on pc! The pc requirements to run the game are not that bad so many people on pc should be able to run it no problem at all. This type of a game on the pc will be great because of its unique type of message system and online play. It is for sure a challenge of a game waiting to be fulfilled by only hardcore gamers that can endure a difficult time for a rewarding experience. To people that love rpg's and a challenge, this game is top notch. With the full game and the extra content included this is a don't miss! Enjoy your time and don't be afraid to die because it will happen. So excited for this release.

Onyxdragon7 ain't kidding, my friend. Dark Souls completely wipes the floor with all other RPGs on the market. Witcher 2 is great, Skyrim is great (only on PC with mods though, it was pretty basic, just a clone of oblivion with a few new bells and whistles.Dark souls is incredible though, totally original, challenging, and unique with it's multiplayer interfacing. They are improving the online systems and adding new content for the PC edition, I mean really, there is no excuse for missing out on one of the best games ever made. And that is no exaggeration!
@garysingh34 @Syndicalist Agreed! As much as I enjoyed Skyrim and Oblivion, I simply get much more enjoyment from playing DS. The whole thing feels very unique to me, The games style that utters loneliness and dread from continuing...Awesome stuff! On play through number 7 now haha, geek overload I know, but I've not played a title this much in the last 10 years! Granted it took some getting used to and that first initial new game punished me more than I thought possible...BUT! To all you that are curious or if your currently in that position, do not lose heart! Being patient is the key here and if you can push through those tricky moments, Dark Souls really does reward in spades!
@Syndicalist Seriously Guys I am adding to this chain of replys because you need to hear it; these guys aren't exaggerating, Dark Souls is the best freaking game ever! Sad that it loses ground to Skyrim (which I love) because Dark Souls is the better game in my unbiased opinion.
2 Like @DNOMYTE lol, "Dark Souls isn't even that difficult." Ok. But it was easy when that way stronger guy attacked you right? Skyrim is just as repetitive btw, most RPG's are. Apparently making players act thoughtfully and patiently is the mark of a bad game nowadays...
@Syndicalist Skyrim and Dark Souls are both overrated IMO. DS Multiplayer sounds good in theory but it's broken. I'm level 10 and get invaded by the same guy 5 times in a row who is way higher leveled? That actually happened. Skyrim is the better game no question despite it's flaws. Dark Souls isn't even that difficult. It only forces you to play at sluggish speed and people apparently think that is a hard game. It's boring and repetitive after the first 5 hours. I will stick to Dragon's Dogma right now.
@GAPDomingues He is correct, it is the best. Skyrim is a rehash of oblivion and the witcher two is good but not as good
6 Like spent over 400 hours getting all achievements on xbox, taking it easy and dying a lot ... and now all over again on pc ... this really is one of the best games ever made imo, i can see why the guy in charge was doubtful about a sequel ... how to ever top this ?

The problem is that my ps3 disc was stolen from me.
Is there going to be a new disc for PS3 or it's only a DLC?

there will probably be DLC + a new retail disc, like game of the year edition. Let's face it, DS was the true GOTY in 2011.

Oh NO! Dark Souls is one of the best games I've ever finished in my life, but I'm NEVER PLAYING IT AGAIN, LOL!
hell yeah. sony actually had me jealous over this one and red dead redemption. at least we got one of em.
I'm buying It again, this time for PC. I want a physical copy that will be playable for a long time, I have It for PS3 but judging by the past the next consoles may not have BC.
