Love this game. This is the way more Zombie games should be. Not just that horde/survival-only all the time. This is like a Zombie Apocolypse Simulator. It's great,love watchin.

arma 2 is a war simulation...
bf3 is a game that has realism but that is compromised in the interest of fun and fast gameplay.you know... like every other game out there. the mass of gamers dont wanna be runing 15 to 20mins to the LZ in the name of realism.
when i was following bf3 befor it was out i remmber the dev team talking about stuff they did have but took off because "altho it was realistic it made gameplay less fun or slow".
arma 2 took something like 10 years to make. it has ai that has no world pathing and actively navigates the wrold.you can fool use by makeing good pathing why do you think they whent to all the trouble of make ai that smart. maybe to simulat reall behaviour.
i have both games and there both incredibly good games that both have incredibly diffrent goals.....and if you cant see that your dum
one is to simulat war the other is like normal gaming which is a mixture of fun and realism.its allmost like compairing your ass with your mouth there both there because of food but they have completely diffrent goals lmao.

@MurtadhaKamil Because that guy was a bandit. Day Z isn't just buddy-buddy co-op. You can choose to kill other players for their gear if you feel like.
When they found the guy standing not moving, its cos he was spawning. A really shit part about Dayz, when your spawning your a huge target
Yeah...not all servers show you your location on the map :) just like in some you cant go in third person, or some you can/cant see a persons details when you look over them! :)
Your best chance at a bandit kill was the start in the farm! haha, he was not even there for the first bit (:

@Gonefishing95 they could of hit him at least 3 times before he could of reacted which would of killed him... or fucked him up to the point where they can finish with 0 problems.

Watching people who are even basically competent at it is as boring as watching paint dry. ArmA pvp itself is far more involving. DayZ's is kinda a stripped down, simpler version of it
DayZ is fun as hell until you realize the zombies are almost no threat at all. And you basically have to have a low-double-digit IQ to be in danger of starving to death.
Once you learn how easy the survival zombie part is, it's really just a small-squad mil-sim mod that puts you on a "gearing up" treadmill.
DayZ shit? Wow you have a lot to learn. It wouldnt have made arma a top seller if it was shit. have you ever even played it?

Why you didn't hit the first player with the axe is beyond me since you said this was a bandit playthrough. He didn't even notice you at the beginning, so you spoiled that great opportunity. Stop being chicken and do something right for a change.
It's possible you killed that one guy you opened up on with your AK next to the fire house. I don't know if he went prone, or if he collapsed. He probably made it, what with his buddy still there to bandage him, but since you died before being able to see a murder/bandit kill, you may never know.
People like you are the reason for this game having only 49 min of average life expectancy!
