In the first episode of Fighters Chronicles Team NINJA talks about the rebirth of the series through the improvement of visuals, character design and immersive fighter entertainement.
This group of developers look like they just came out of hibernation. That's why it took them so long to develop the game...They were sleeping for the last 7 years and just woke up a couple of months ago!
Every promotion I see for this title is directed heavily towards presentation value...it feels like they have nothing to report in the gameplay department. DOA4 was a flying leap over DOA3 in terms of fight mechanics, so I hope this game is at least as strong in that department, if not better.
Always good to hear word from the developers. Looks like they really put a lot of thought into this decision in making DOA 5.
Its not working well in my view. More Tekken influence but it needs some more solid fighting in its ways. I like the look of fighters and more interactive environments
