well.... that was random. I wonder if they'll have a guest star character like the halo Spartan... I hope they do, but I want it to be Commander Shepard.
Wow... I feel like I'm not even sure what to say, haha. Only thing I didn't like was Lei-Fang's costume but frankly she looks wayyy better than she did in 4. And I'm not too sure how they came to the conclusion that a circus stage fits into the DOA universe but okayyy....
Guess I know what level I'll be playing with my friends while we drink. The drinking games are gonna be fun.

2 Like As with any Team Ninja game, development started off with 6 months of intense motion capture sessions with large breasted women from around the world. Their boob-physics team employs 10 of the most dedicated programmers and technology specialists in the biz. Team Ninja promises you that there will be action, there will be a circus, and there will be boobs.

I've been a DOA fan since the beginning, and most of the recent trailers have really excited me, but this one... Maybe I need to lighten up, but I thought the stage was dumb and the trailer boring. They also probably shouldn't have put all the ninjas together in the first trailers because the moves they showed in this one were also not very flashy (Zack needs to learn some more Tony Jaa moves or something). Anyway, still want the game, just let down by this trailer a bit.
1 Like @mayatola This stage actually reminds me of Soul Calibur Circus See saw level. I think is pretty cool. Zack is always goofy. The new director wants DOA5 to be taken more seriously. I am not sure why make this trailer then. Unless it was to show that Zack still wears ridiculous costumes. As long it applies only to him I am cool. Now where Brad Wong.
I felt the opposite after seeing this. Before this trailer, I feared that DOA5 was trying to be TOO serious and gritty of a game, like 95% of high profile games on the market. To see such a lighthearted stage and the DOA4-like obstacles has made me feel a lot better about the game as a whole.
Granted, I was going to pick this up anyways, given that this is my favorite 3D fighting game series, but my hype has now reached a new level.
Plus, I can't help but dig Leifang's new look. lol
Yeah, like I said, I probably need to lighten up. I guess I prefer the more serious side of DOA than the Zack side of it. Or at least the more flashy-cool-move ninja/assassin style side of it.

I thought they were turning down the boobs physics, guess they meant the were not going to have the ladies why huge boobs. Maybe that is what they meant. May after the ninja gaiden fail, they decided maybe we should not take out things that made the game popular.
Ah i SO can't wait to get this ! Only bad thing is that i can never enjoy DOA 3 and 4 without having to buy an XBOX360 (PS regular customer here!) Wish they made a release on PSN or something :*(
Those stages look awesome. I didn't think they could have made Zack more hilarious but I was proven wrong. I hope teletubby costume comes back. Can I please get some footage of Bass and Tina.
1 Like don't really like the stage, but DOA has always been awesome. i'm kinda scared because of the Ninja Gaiden screwup, no clues as to Team Ninja can work without Itakagi... here's hoping...
@theBeorn Dude. Itakagi is just one man. Give credit to other hundreds of people that work at Team Ninja please. I am just a little tired of hearing that he made NG and DOA. Other people work there too without them none of those games would be possible. NG3 was a screw up but any company can do that. At least give the game a chance.
@ExplicitMike alot of ppl work everywhere, but just a few make decisions. when the decision makers change, everything changes.
@riotinto876 I think that may be a good thing in this case. In my opinion Sigma 2 was better than NG2. They added Ayane as a character and fixed most of the bugs in NG2. They also got rid off the multiple armadillos. (quite possibly the most annoying boss fight ever). It really doesn't matter because if the developers screw up. Your ideas don't count for anything. Case in point DOAX2 and NG2 buggy unfair difficulty. NG1 was hard but nothing in the level of cheapness.
