Are they dead? I thought they said that your hero from D1 or D2 would make appearances/cameos in D3.

d1- Wizard corrupted, became the "summoner" in act 2
Rogue Corrupted- Became blood raven
warrior corrupted- became diablo
d2 nothing has been said just rumors but from what i've gathered
Necro-dead, you see his apprentice in act 2 i n a random event
amazon-no idea
sorceress- apparently assassinated by somebody
druid- no idea
barbarian- APPARENTLY is the barb in this game but that wouldn't make sense so no idea
paladin-presumed dead his order was devastated i think
assassin-founded a school and apparently assassinated the sorceress

I'm ending this right now, FMA was originally a Manga, The first animated series did not follow the manga, The Brotherhood series did, Brotherhood is original!.

That's got to suck. You go up against the Prime Evils and smite them all and thousands of demons from Hell only to be Assassinated randomly.

Actually that isn't entirely true. A sorceress who fought aginst the evils is killed in the wizards backstory but I have doubts its the sorceress from D2 and believe its just a random adventurer. I can post reasons if you want. The assasin who kills her however us definately a guy so he can't be the female assasin from D2. Additionally hes getting his targets from the head of the wizards order whereas the D2 assasins order was specifically tasked (if I remember right) to kill corrupt mages so it may not even be the same group. As for the Necromancer hea never confirmed as dead we just run into the apprentice of one who fought against the prime evils. Just remember the heroes of the games aren't the only ones fighting, and dying in these wars.

What? None of those make sense.
You're following the hero from D1 (who is carrying Diablo's soulstone to eventually turn into Diablo). Literally the entire game is following "The Wanderer". It wouldn't make sense for Blood Raven or The Summoner to exist unless they just said, "F*** it. The Warrior is the canon Diablo".

There's corrupted and posessd, Blood Raven was corrupted while the warrior was possesed. That's why Blood Raven empowered by Diablo's evil was still a humanoid being using familiar weapons, a bow and an army. The warrior was possesed which meant you wind up with a different being Diablo rather than one with just a new attitude and abilities. I'm not sure about the wizard becoming the act 2 summoner though I though that he and the monk just dissapeared.

This is the 3rd topic I've seen today where I've seen someone make a fool out of themselves by incorrectly trying to correct someone on the fate of the D1 heroes.

During Installation of D3, Cain's story says that The Warrior was Aiden, Leoric's son. He is the only hero mentioned. And he's the one who beat Diablo in D1. It seems the warrior IS the canon Diablo/wanderer from D2.
