I remember playing Contra with my cousin on the PS2. We later went swimming and nearly crapped our pants when we started reminiscing about the fish boss... Needless to say we got out of the water pretty fast! XDDD

Well, he was kind of tough the first time you fought him. Actually one of the hardest bosses in DMC3, really.

If we're also talking about the character (which we shouldn't according to the rules, but just a comment), I also found it a bit weird that he resembled Grendel rather than Beowulf.

Yeah, he was hard. But he is definitely one the highlights. Especially considering Phantom, Doppelganger, Jester, Dante, Echidna and Bael & Dagon are still here.

I prefer all but Jester to Beowulf XD
Beo's running away is annoying as hell. I want to duke it out FFS.

My favorite bosses in no particular order: Berial, Gigapede(Cerberus/A&R spam on top of him or Nevan spam under him is SOOOOO satisfying), Leviathan's heart(I find it fun), Mundus part 2 & 3, Vergil 1 & 2.

Absolutely hate in no particular order: Bolverk, Trismagia, Nightmare, Jokatgulm, Nefasturris, Mundus part 1, Geryon, kinda Beowulf as well.

Cerberus, Nelo Angelo and A(g)nus are bosses I don't want to fight, although Nelo is a bit of a love-hate.

Enigmas are something I absolutely LOATHE. Started hating Soul Eaters, Dullahans and Bloodgoyles as well. DMC2... I just don't want to mention, too many bad memories.
Death Scissors/Scythes, Plasmas and Shadows are annoying.
