I'll add Link to the mix.
    Yes, he isn't from DMC.
    But he is a lefty.

    I think I got it...! but it's not a main character, it's a Boss...

    Belial is left-handed.

    So... Nero, Dino and Belial?

    :O
Berial IS left handed! How could I forget that? It's one of my favorite boss fights.

    Lol'd.

It's just a sword though, right?

Sanctus doesn't really wield the sword to begin with. Credo has it in his right hand... A(g)nus is... Uhh... Two handed? <_<
Nelo wields it in his right hand... The 7 Sins are basically left handed(I think) because their top hand with the pole weapon(scythe) is their left hand. But they don't have a sword. No idea on Alastor actually since I never played VJ(LOLOLOLO "VJ", get it!? XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD/child mode). Something about Arkham's sword wielding doesn't sit right with me(PUN! LOLOL) though. Is he left handed?
Who else is there that wields a sword... IMO Sparda used his right hand in the little demo he showed of his mad skillz in the Opening for DMC.

I'll be going through the list of enemies and bosses now!

...I dunno the others, but I give up.
Or you can give us a clue... how many characters are they? Until this moment, I could only think of two: Nero and Belial.
  • Jun 3, 2012 2:45 pm GMT
Missing one more. Actually the last one is very deceptive, I didn't count DINO at first but I guess it's fine, though I think he uses his right hand actually.

DINO has his sword slung on his left shoulder but reaches up and grabs it using his right hand so I don't think he's left handed.

    Who else?
    Hmmm..... Jester? Or Doppelganger?

    Nope, and... nope.

HINT: You can't find the last one that easily, just by going through bosses and their pictures.

    The Fallen

EDIT: No, wait... Right handed... Hmm... Alto Angelos also wield it with the right hand.
Well, Blades have a mention of having a huge claw in their left hand which they use to kill opponents, but that's not really a sword though.

Rudra! Damn, the boss art has him hold the sword in the wrong arm!

This was a tough one. Nicely done

Finally! yup it's Rudra. In the boss art he holds his sword in the right hand, which is why I said the last one was deceptive. But if you watch this awesome gameplay video:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3VCX4p3Iw3M

it's clear that Rudra holds it with his left hand. When did you finally figure it out? My last hint was referring to my topic about Agni & Rudra here.

Your turn to ask I guess.

I believe it was a subconscious realisation from your tips and the A&R topic. I then went to check the CG artwork of him and saw him have the sword in his right arm. Then recalled that you said the artwork was misleading(and remembered there being something different about the A&R fight), so I went to check a youtube vid of the fight.

Question: Only one Devil May Cry game didn't have a gun that shot rockets. Which game is it?
