Zorine is just plain cool.  I wish she was in the US so i saw her more often on Gamespot.

 @Zorine Dominator doesn't stop your orb...it will only take effect if your frost arrows is off, in dota 1 it is the same but you couldn't use hot keys while having and orb but you can press the hot key while having an orb in dota 2.

LoL players will switch to this , because of the many afkers/trolls in ranked games , it's just sad , LoL was a great game , but community ruined it , hopefully dota 2 community won't be filled with trolls :\

 @Zorine he should upgrade his boots before other items maybe.threads or phase

Thanks for the videos.  I've never played any of the DOTA games, but these tutorials have definitely piqued my interest, so please keep them coming.

Ok I watched Dota 2 diaries part 2...? hopefully you can bottle runes next time; will the bots win next week? Will Riki need dust, will Drow get a magic stick? Only time will tell.

If she doesn't know that the couriers doesn't drop items upon death, she is way out of touch with the game. It hasn't been that way for a long time now. I suggest she actually play the game instead of relying on her Dota 1 experience. Different game, now.

What a crap, whats the point to clone leage of legends that game suck alot, even map is same ,valve you suck here,all the time same gameplay,if you dont ant to sleep play it and you will fall in sleep quick, wheres rpg elements, thers nothing

a bit more info about different items and different heroes would be nice for such a long video, but tnx anyway :)

Hey Ed, a few tips Zorine didnt mention, in Pubs, type in chat: "Where's the Secret Shop" to give your team an additional vote of confidence in you.

Also, bring your courier along with you wherever you go.

And ALWAYS, ALWAYS go middle lane, even though someone is already there.

Zorine is pretty cool but she is SOOOO SLOW to think of stuff, lol, it amazes me she is a veteran player. She takes forver to make up her mind about stuff

I know some people may (will) disagree with my choices here, but here's some other simple heroes you might want to try if you ever get bored of Drow.

More right-click focused heroes a-la Drow:-  Skeleton King (Very tough melee, only one active ability to worry about, also can reincarnate on death. Aka pretty forgiving on mistakes)

-  Riki (Melee with perma-stealth, can jump on and silence enemies)

-  Phantom Assassin (Melee with a pretty simple skillset, ult is a passive that gives the potential for HUGE crits)

-  Sniper (Ranged, has a skill that boosts his range, and a pretty powerful nuke)

-  Viper (Ranged with another toggleable ability like drow's frost arrow, and an ult that deals a large amount of damage + slows)If you're interested in trying heroes with more of a focus on active abilities:- Lich (Support with a spammable nuke and a crazy-strong ultimate)

- Ogre Magi (Tough support with a stun and a slow, along with a pretty fun ultimate)

- Luna (Carry with a nuke and an ult similar to what you saw juggernaut using on you here)

- Juggernaut (You saw him here, but he's a carry with a really strong spinning ability, and an ult that wrecks people 1v1. Also has a heal)

Hey you don't lose your items when couriers die anymore.

DOTA is certainly one of the toughest games to learn and jump online with right from the start, since one player's actions can disrupt a whole team's. Familiarizing yourself with buying items and the heroes (your hero AND the ones you're going up against) is certainly something that takes time and will only come with experience, but after playing some games it?ll get smoother. Some of the more important skills to work on are positioning (where you hero is at any given time, example: so you don?t run into your own creeps when attempting to flee) and map awareness, as Zorine touched on. One suggestion; as simple as Drow Range is as far as abilities are concerned, her role as a carry isn?t the best for players starting out. I would suggest Skeleton King (more survivable/semi carry/simple abilities) Vengeful Spirit (stunner w/ a support role) or Ogre Magi (more durable stunner w/ support abilities). Good luck with the game and remember the most important part, to have fun with it, though this can be tough when players rage :(

Doing this video is the best advertisement for this game I've ever seen. I had only a mild interest in the game before. Now I feel like it's a "must have."

Love the videos both 1 and 2, really helping me understand the game better :) Plus I recently got an invite to play Dota 2.... so can't wait to try it :)
