Yeah, they don't have a fast travel system only teleporting by using a consumable. There's a difference or not.

I really hope that you get in a situation where you HAVE to warp 450 times

I think your money would've been better invested in Port Crystals myself.

Having more warp points is just as useful IMO.

What is a "fast travel system"?

Is it not instantaneous movement from one location to another by use of a game mechanic?

Elder Scrolls spoiled you, didn't it?
  • May 30, 2012 8:55 pm GMT
you can only have 10 port crystals down at one time

Yes it did, I'm very lazy after I've beaten the game.

problem solved then. although you might want to only have 9 down so that you can move the last one around (escort quests and the like)

You get so much money in this game by design that buying the 10,000 ferrystones is irrelevant, so is essence this game does have a fast travel system; people who don't get that well that's their problem not the games while you sit there with millions of gp in the bank or net worth.

most of the money is gained during the post game though. most people want fast travel so that they dont have to traverse the waycastle 15+ times, or to go back to the blue-something tower, dont feel like looking it up atm

Most of the money is gained in the first town actually.

If you really want to farm money.

    http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/626515-dragons-dogma/62948346

I just read from a JPN wiki and just confirmed it... at your hometown, if you buy carrots from Iola (75 each) and then sleep for three days to let it mold, you can sell them back to her for 165.

A party of 4 with very light encumbrance can pack about 1800 carrots. With a net earning of 90/carrot, that'd be about 162k total net earning in three game days (minus 150 for hotel).

Not that money is a big deal, but it'd at least make me feel less bad buying Ferry Stone. :-)
