Mystic knight or Magic archer?

Ok i do not know which one to choose because i like doing damage. i heard Mystic knights get a really cool skill at the end but is it really that cool? But im also looking at Magic archer cause they look like fun and use daggers. i also need to know this because i need to deside who im giving which idol im giving to which merchant.

I just changed to a Magick Archer and it's great at controlling the battlefield, but a focus on Magick is a must since it's skills rely on having a high Magick stat.

I assume a Mystic Knight would better fit a damage dealing playstyle, mixed in with some Magick for good measure. But I dont know...
