PLEASE RATE YOUR PAWNS! (bump this thread)

If you have the time to hire a pawn you can take 60seconds to give that pawn a rating when you let them go. Even if you were unhappy, or clearly they were lacking in a area and had to let them go. Just take the time to RATE YOUR PAWNS!

When you don't rate them, and let them go, it messes up thier true rating and possibly effects the chances of that persons pawn being hired again.

You DON'T have to send a gift, heck, you don't even have to take the time to select a message (Although at least selecting "Thank you." isn't hard) However, PLEASE take a moment to select an appropriate rating. Plus it helps the Pawn owner know if there is an issue with thier pawn, even if only a little bit.

(Yes, it would be nice, or should be that the default rating is set to zero stars and have this count as a blank vote. Because with 3 stars being the default it makes all of us likely to fall into the "average" rating when barely anyone rates)

    PLEASE

    RATE

    YOUR

    PAWNS

    Thank you.

    PS3 ID: Opt_0 (Opt_Zero)

    Pawn Name: Kye

She'll be staying as a Strider for a while now. She seems to be agile and agressivewhen in battle.

Trying to keep her as Nexus and Utilitarian/Aquisitor.

Still though, to those of you who don't know:

    PLEASE RATE YOUR PAWNS

    ~it takes less than 1 minute~

    Thanks

yeah, i always rate the pawns. rating them is a way to interact with pawn's owner, and, as you said, it will take 1 minute or less.

i started the game a few days ago, my pawn is a fighter, called Rufus (a big redhead inspired in Little John, from the Robin Hood's tale)

i play on xbox, my gamertag is RazorKaosRj

oh i'll also give my details then. i play on xbox 360, my gamertag is dyludyludi and my pawn's name is Idan. he's a warrior (didnt change the vocation), he's a really good tanker, he always "acts as a bait". lvl 32 if i remember.

my pawn is a good tanker too. he always holds enemies, making them easy targets. i have too much fun fighting cyclops, 'cause my pawn distracts the target, then i stun it shooting into it's eye (i'm a strider). we strike together till the cyclops get up, and we repeat the tactic hahaah

I totally agree with you here! And know that in some situations, 3 stars with no comment = lazy player.

HOWEVER. This is not always the case. When a pawn "dies" in someone's care, it sends you a default 3 star rating. This is what I've heard from other players and I also know for sure this is true, because my pawn died in my friend's care the other day. He told me she died, and she came back to me with a 3 star rating from him. He always rates her 5 stars.

What confuses me... is when you get your pawn sent back to you with nothing but gifts. No rating. No username. No ANYTHING. I thought for a while that THAT was when they died. But apparently not...?

I feel you, though. I'm completely sure that sometimes the 3 star rating is a lazy player. I don't MIND when someone REALLY DOES FEEL my pawn deserves 3 stars. When one gives a pawn 3 stars across the board AND leaves a message with my pawn, I know that they were just giving me an honest rating. But when I get 3 stars across the board with NO comment... I assume she either died or someone was lazy.

Sybille, sometimes the game itself just throws the player a bone by gifting you and giving you a few rift crystals..  So whenever you dont see the ratings this is most likely what is happening.  This is built in for the players that dont play online I suppose.

Yeah, it's been my understanding that the "returns from other arisen" with only a small gift and no other info is purely automated. Although it does help ensure you are getting a smallbut steady rate of RC$, it is dissappointing when you realize your pawn isn't being hired as much as you'ld like.

When you get the full details, even when they don't rate, is when it has returned from a real Arisen.

Also, does anyone know how armor/gear comes across when it's sent back with thier pawn? I often will give a piece of armor if nothing more than for cash when I send back a good pawn. But it must be placed on the pawn's body and cannot be selected as an actual gift when releasing them. So I'm just wondering what it's like when you recieve actaul gear, does it notify in the gifts recieved box? Or is it just some over looked item left in your inventory like all the auto gifts?

    And remember: RATE YOUR PAWNS.

    Thanks.

I have had people send my pawn back in gear. Normally the second my pawn comes back, on the screen where you view the ratings... she's already dressed in the gear. So it's very obvious she was given gear. Even though you don't SELECT it in the gifts section, it shows up in the user's gift section when they receive it. At that point you can choose to change back to your old gear, or keep the gear on that your pawn arrived in. If you change back to your old gear, the new gear will be sent to Storage.

I've got over a milion RC now and 80% of the time they come back with like 50-150k RC and no ratings so i think you'll just have to get used to it.

    @GunEye

Well I'm about level 70 now, so it might cost you way to much, but actually I'll probablly tote your pawn around a bit. Kind of hanging back from finishing up my first playthrough (going to attempt to get involved with the Ur_Dragon this weekend) so I'll try to take your pawn around the map and against some bigger foes, see if I can't help it evolve. I like helping more than anything in games for some reason. If this game were a MMO i'd be Crowd Control and Support. But instead my pawn is.

    @CruiserCaptain

    What's Ur_Dragon?

And can you tell me that without spoilling me something important. Is that the online coop mission I heard about? how do you get into it?

    And thanks btw!

It's a very interesting, ever evolving online dragon that apparently is fought by player all over the world at them same time until it dies, which takes a very long time from what I understand. Still leraning about it myself. Yet the payoffs can be great if you get the killing shot, or atleast participate until it's destroyed.

Definately agree, anyone who rates Nero I'm always appreciative of, and I will always do the same for any pawn I use.
