Actually looking forward to this one. Payed a visit to the main website and the game looks to have some promising new features and an all new playable faction, Jin. Xiahou Dun has been my favorite forever, but the new Deng Ai of Jin looks to take his place as coolest character!
Did I see a gatling gun in that video?! And juggling soldiers with it? Um, what? Maybe my other comment about a futuristic DW may not be so far off the mark...
its looks good i hope it wont be the same combat sistem thet was in DW strikeforce thet game was a mess and put some story on this thets all i realy wait for it
the battle should be tactical ..there is no tactical whatsoever..fancy sword play like assasin creed is great...not just power up..come change it already..been play dw long enough love some of the character:)
I hope there are actually genuine improvements (not including graphics and more characters). It just seems they only add a little each time. Its a great game, but it can get a bit boring and repetitive at times (which is a shame), and I know a few die hard fans may argue that its awesome in everyway and throw teddies in the corner at any put down...but lets just keep our fingers crossed and see what's in store :)
Awesome. There's a few die-hard Dynasty fans and I'm one. Arm Cannon? Maybe not too much in-line with the Dynasty games but ah well.. I already raped as it was! Mwah ha ha! Gutted that it's been pushed back 1 month though.. grrrr!
Awesome, DW7!... but come on.. arm cannons? Well, I'm still gonna get it cause it's just gotta be better than Strikeforce... Can't wait to check out the new characters.
hmm...this game looks boring...and it totally lacks in action ..the characters look great and the graphics ..but how can one man knock out 20 men with one whip of his sword? O.o
I know actually did something different with Strikeforce. But what is this!? The same mediocre repetitive dog poop they've been dishing out for the last 10 years! I mean going back to it's fighting game roots(the first and original Dynasty Warriors) would be a TERRIFIC break.
After the disappointment that was DW6 (lack of characters, lack of story, lack of being worth money), I'm genuinely excited here. New characters, better graphics, and I'm hoping my story missions. Though, if they take out the Yellow Turban Rebellion, I will cry a bit. I'd also like to see the return of Guan Ping, whiny biznitch he was.
@RenewedRurouni Well I wouldn't get too upset. Technicaly this version of the game is picking up after the Sima family takes over and starts the Jin Dynasty. So it's really a toss up in the air. Then again they did show Zhou Yu and story wise, he died around the same time Sun Ce did. So chances are they'll probably have all of the characters.
last dw, "strikeforce" I spat at. i won't buy dw anymore, but I hope this is better regardless.
I hope the combat is like DW6 rather than that badStrikeforce game. The town element was cool, but the gameplay was horrible.
Totally love DW can't wait to try this one out. One thing is for certain I hope this one is better then that Sengoku Basara capcom put out a few months ago gosh that game was just horrid.... I'm not sure what happened to that series but wow it just was terrible...
They seriously need to take a break, and re-work the whole game from the engine up. I haven't play DW game since DW4 just for the reason that it's way too repetitive. And arm cannons, seriously?
Definitely picking this one up, but they're missing some major characters. I haven't seen anything about Cao Pi, Sun Quan, Sun Jian, Lu Bu, Diao Chan, Xu Xhu, Gan Ning, Pang Tong, Huang Gai, and a couple others. I'm a bit worried by this.

Critics can say what they want but Dynasty warriors and Samurai Warriors are the masters in these 1vs100 army games. Games like Ninety-Nine Nights a little fish compared to the Koei games in the same genre. To bad that only samurai warriors 2, samurai warriors online and Dynasty Warriors 4: Hyper are for pc.
does anyone know if we r getting all the characters in story mode, not only 4! if every character has his own story mode, then this will have a high replay value.
Gotta Hand it to DW it has as much hate as it does love! Ive never seen so many ppl talk about something they hate so much... Anyways, cannot wait for this!
I wish Koei would make Romance of Three Kingdom 12 instead of this crap. Or a new Taiko Risshiden.
