This kind of crap blows my mind. This game is hideous. Its been years since the Fallout 3, yet the graphics, textures, and lighting is still so poorly rendered. This is nothing but a $60 expansion pack. Oh yah btw, plenty of DLC on the way already!!!

This video goes behind the scenes with team members at Obsidian Entertainment as they discuss the art style of Fallout: New Vegas and how they turned the strip into a post-nuclear throwback to classic Las Vegas.
The Art Direction? It looks exactly like Fallout 3 (not just graphically) but the world looks the same, just with a few poorly rendered neon lights thrown in.
Well, I'm sorry but from an artistic point of view they had to throw the Fallout 3 graphical engine into the toilet. It looks.. "flat".
Awesome, Mutant Geckos! lol. Also, @2:16 I didn't know that that's the new way video game artists design games... Pretty cool.
man! roll on 22nd october. game pre-ordered already, 22nd is a friday aswell so got all weekend to explore new vegas, sweet!, cant wait.
Played this at a recent games expo and it was as good as Fallout 3 so it will be an enjoyable experience, cant wait
I just found this picture on a website, its an eye-bot shaped cake flying along the waste land with a withered old tree at the bottom. Go on my profile ad it will make more sense, the lead developer Robert Lee got the cak to celebrate the fact that New Vegas is now 100% complete Woop Woop :D
boodleout: Why enhance the graphic on just a good looking game? When you run fallout 3 on ultra it looks extremely nice, and this game has a bit higher requirements so it probably looks a little bit better too. I'm glad that they kept the old engine as it wont be too much of a change from fallout 3, so for everyone that loved that game, these graphics should be perfect..
it's disapointing that there's been no graphical enhancements and that they're using exactly the same engine as they did 2 years ago. a little more effort couldn't have gone astray... fallout 3 surprisingly didn't take up my space on the disc compared to what you may have throught.
Didn't like the style of the weapons. They are very similar to real guns, they don't have their own style (retro-futuristic) like the weapons in Fallout 3.
Less than a month, I preordered Collector's edition: This game is simply going to kick arse... simple isnt it?
