Why is this video such poor resolution? I selected 720p, but most of this video was grainy as sh*t. Come on, gamespot! It's 2013 for f's sake.
@Stabba_The_Kutt What the hell are you talking about with your grain?? Even if it was good quality, higher resolutions or quality don't remove grain.
And there can't possibly be any grain in this video because, first of all, it's digital, which means there can only be digital noise if anything, on top of that, the quality of this video (even at 720p) is indeed low, but what you're seeing is macroblocking and crap like that. Not "grain", that doesn't apply here AT ALL. It only applies to FILM, which there is NONE of in this video or anywhere in or around GameSpot's offices.
Watching this kind of made me realise that this year hasn't really been all that amazing for special games.. there were only a few in there that I generally loved. Most were just mediocre.
Nice long clip of journey though, I only bought that for myself over Christmas and thoroughly enjoyed every second. It's artistic bliss, definitely understand why it's had such rave reviews. The fact That Game Company is now free to go multi-plat can only be a good thing for us gamers, god knows what they'll achieve with the increase in resources :)

@Reuwsaat Thanks very much. The US video team are hard at work doing GOTY stuff in December but over here in the UK office we've some downtime to experiment. Basically did it the last 2 weeks of December.

1 Like I'am a gamer/a gamer am I.I've been a gamer since the Atari 2600 days,I'm a little bit older now and I'm slaving from 4am-3pm mon-fri at work.I may be a little fish in a big pond out in the real world but once I get threw that apartment door at home I hit one of my multi systems and become a giant,being able to do the things that I could never do in the real world (GTA ect.)Gaming is in my blood stream and it's my piece of mind away from the madness at work.So I say to all the gamers out there.GAME ON!! 1 Like To expand on that, last year has a lot more good and great games, this year has a lot more terrible games, but also some of the best in a while.

1 Like For me personally, 2012 was not a good year for gaming. I am not into black ops or any shooters like that and was not into boarderlands. The only games i got this year were the need for speed games and sleeping dogs. 2012 has probably been the worst year for me as a gamer.
