Video Review - Far Cry 3

Been meaning to play this game sine it was first shown at E3. Finally got round to buying it and man. I'm in love with this game. Forget the fact that if you play it on a high end rig or like me on my ps3 but with a great HD TV. Then it is simply stunning. The gameplay is amazing, the stealth and action combined are brilliant. The story so far has been brilliant. When the devs talked about actually growing with Jason (main character for those who haven't played it) I thought it was nonsense. I mean how did this normal guy become some super killer? But it all actually makes sense and you do grow with him. Also maybe it cause I'm 20 but I can relate to his character in so many ways, and he's probably now one of my favourite protagonist. Love this game!

One day kids are going to wake up and realize this game is not that great , corruption is everywhere so gamespot has it too this game is traditionally 1st person shooter whats new is this piece of shit ...

Everyone says VAAS is a good villain, to me he was an angry drug addicted, male who wore make-up, I was not scared of him one bit. The girly protagonist Jason Brody, and all his spoiled rich friends ruined the game even more. This game has potential but it was ruined by all the dubstepping, trendy, teeny bopper cartoon vibes. I hope Farcry 4 goes back to the more gritty vibe of Farcy 2, but with all the cool animals and elements of FARCRY 3.

So they payed you to give this review score right? What an overrated game.

Nice graphics, good story line. The language was very bad and the restart time when you die was very unexceptable. I am one with the grave, lol.

Out all the millions of people that play violent games less the half % have gone out and killed. So if  it was all down to the violence in game  why have the 99.95+% not gone out with a gun and shoot real people. parents should be looking at them self not the media to blame try show you kids right from wrong insted of sitting them in front of a box. there got to be something very wrong with a person to go in to a school and shoot kids.

i hope this is only a some part on a second disc and made by a diffrent department so it dose not mean less time was spent on single player.

Cracking game! Only had 1 issue of game-halting glitching and nothing else noticably wrong at all. Great graphics too. I also really liked the story AND the ending. Bit of a slow start but it really picks up the pace and I liked how the ending played out. Hated the stupid quicktime bits tho, as in all games. They just break up the gameplay and negate all your gained skill etc. Anyhoo, this is a belter of a game. If anything, underated at 9.0.

Most overrated game of the year! I was really looking forward to this one, but I'm finding it so repetetive and anti-climactic and not that much different to Far Cry 2...except for inferior graphics and physics.

Playing this game in crossfire with 2 HD 7950's doesn't change my FPS, even with Cat 12.11. Good thing a single card runs it well above 60fps most of the time. Great game.

Oh yeah! Platinum Trophy #3 is now in the bag! This was a very good game. I loved just about everything it offered, including the co-op (when it didn't freeze my PS3). Great job, Ubisoft!

Decent graphics, sound effects and voice acting... I played it several times in attempt to fancy it, but I'm torturing myself; this game actually gives me a headache. 

Perpetual running through vegetation and chasing for dimwits in red outfits stems boredom. 

After finally getting to play this, I have to say, it has lived up to the hype so far.  Aside from the sometimes ridiculously stupid AI the game has its hooks in me and I cannot wait to get back into the islands while I am at work.  It has been awhile since a game had me this addicted.

I'm really enjoying this game, but it doesn't really work well with overclocked hardware. Had multiple crashes every 5-10 mins until I set my cpu back to stock 3.4ghz clock. Now smooth sailing. This game is going to take a while.

i just bought the game and started playing still in chapter 3 however the thing i dont understand is the lag issues on my laptop

i have toshiba x770 with GTX 560M ( 4 gig vram ) 8 gig system ram and core i7 2630

i mean i bought this laptop last year but last thing i expect that after 1 year im runing far cry 3 barely on medium setttings ( i have all drivers so dont bother )

For it to be cliche and than receive a 9.0 is beyond me. I thought the game was quite interesting and the tribal boss and boss battles in general were cool.

This is by far the best and most packed non sci-fi RPG type of shooter to date

I Think That At The Ending What Would You Chose ?

The game is great, until you try to do a second play through, which introduces a whole bunch of annoying and game breaking bugs.  They're getting patched though, but until then the game is a "play only once" game because it just comes apart on the second run.

This should be the Game of The Year. Not this stupid Journey or The Walking Dead.

Open World van Ord overrates another game because it has an open world.

FPS games always were and always will be intended to play on PC's with mouse and keyboard, if you want to truly enjoy this game make sure you have decent PC and you will have the best time of your life, all the bugs and downgraded visuals are for consoles, PC version shines and runs as smooth as silk.
