it's strange. somehow, i think solitude and being alone are key parts of horror, and that part of the experience is lost when playing it with a friend. i would've recommended Silent Hill 4, but i think more than any other game, solitude is necessary for the full experience of SH4.
so, i guess, i'll just suggest Silent Hill 3 instead ^^. it's funny thinking of SH3 after watching Fatal Frame II, with mio and miya having the most inappropriate reactions to the world around them, because i think heather was portrayed with realistic (sort of) reactions to the world around her--just like any everyday teenage girl.
Undying was way better than this. It's the scariest game I've ever played. I keep my fingers crossed for a sequel even though it probably won't happen.
I love Dark Corners of The Earth. Definitely one of the most underrated horror games out there. I was looking forward to the sequel but sadly, it never got made.
