Ni No Kuni Live Stream Spectacular

Studio Ghibli and Level 5's RPG finally makes it to the West, and to celebrate the embargo lifting, we'll be live streaming and taking your questions.
It's been a long time coming, but Namco Bandai has finally localised Ni No Kuni for the West. The epic RPG from the makers of Professor Layton and the studio behind Spirited Away and Ponyo got together to make the game in Japan back at the end of 2011, so it has taken well over a year to prepare it for English-speaking audiences. Thankfully, though, the localisation team not only has recorded English voice-overs, but has kept the game's idiosyncrasies as well--tweaking the character of Drippy so that his original Osaka accent is replaced with a Welsh accent.

2 Like @duylinhs I'm not 100% but I believe I read that you'd get to choose this option before starting the game.
I know what you mean mate... some how doesn't feels right, when a game or a movie is translated to a different language.

1 Like Oh god, the waiting for this game has been painful. Can't believe its finally here. I played a bit of the asian version and its truly incredible.
can't wait for this, my last jrpg was ffx , didn't like what followed. I hope it good though.

I haven't played a JRPG since final fantasy 10 but i'm considering making this 1 of my 3 games to pick up in the next few months. Its hard though i gotta drop Tomb Raider for it cause Dead Space 3 and Injustice are too important lol. Damn my rule of 3 games in the coming months grrrr
Had to buy this. I need more great classic JRPGs in my life this gen lol. All I have is Tales of Graces F, Eternal Sonata, Xenoblade Chronicles, The last Story & Persona 4: Golden. That's just not enough in 7 years!
I did mention Last Story. Resonance of Fate was okay, but not a classic JRPG game like a Persona or Ni no Kuni tbh & FF Xiii-2 was a let down for me personally. I'm not liking the Lightning arc at all.
In Hong Kong, this game (JP, region 3) is currently selling at HK$120 (or US$15). It is a bargain. I hope I will enjoy it.
This is one game I wouldn't want spoiled through live stream. It's easily been a decade since an RPG of this caliber has come along.
cant watch want to enjoy every single moment in the game :D so go away all your spoiler previews :D weeheee ghibli rules!
