Portal 2: Tests of the Week - Captain of the Laser Ship
By Jake Harris
This week Cam and Jake duel it out with seaships, spaceships, and, naturally, lasers.
Cam fights for independence and Jake tries to look ship-shape while Guy presides over all to judge this week's test of the week. Also, lasers.

So many maps are all flash no substance. Aslo I'm tired of all new concept maps that never gets realized. Mevious is my favourite designer by far as he always has a clever thought behind his puzzles.
I spotted you've already downloaded my Tick Tock level a couple of weeks ago. Please have a go at Visa Versa. A good solid puzzle to try and get your noggin around. Kudos if you complete it!http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=68535110
GET A MOUSE!!!! u suck so much!!! besides, this is on pc and it's intended to be played with a mouse!btw. No player using a controller can surpass another player with a keyboard+mouse
@i_like_space Yes, I did. But I'm use to play things like Unreal so my sensitivity / dpi is pretty high. I'm use to it.
@Red_lath Why is it intended to be played with a mouse? Because you say so? A game is meant to be played like the player wants. If I want to play an FPS with a controller I play with a controller. If you don't know how to use a controller that's your problem.
Just like a gaming mouse there are controllers that let you physicality change the sensibility of the thumb sitcks so you can't use that as an excuse.
And yes... Players using controllers can surpass keyboard+mouse player...
@Red_lath When we used a mouse, people complained that it was too twitchy for them.
The moral of the story: People whine about anything and everything.
I was just trolling guys. Games exists to have fun so at the end It doesn't matter if u use a controller or a mouse jejejeje. Actually I grow playing fighting games in NeoGeo systems and consoles - I love controls there. Have you ever tried to play a fighting game with a keyboard? ridiculous jejeje
btw. Both of You do a great job and Kevin is pretty accurate with most things. Cheers
@Red_lath Nerd much. Seems like it was intended for a lot of platforms. Besides we know you'd suck without your mouse to help those withdrawal shakes. Gotta have steady thumbs or it's a mouse as your only redemption.
@The_Dragon_Born No man, u are completely wrong...Portal is a classic from PC. It runs mainly with steam and remember the engine within it's built...Yes...P2 has console ports...true that.
Regarding controllers: Sticks are capped; they have a limited range of movement, while mouse doesn't, the only limit is how fast u are and the dimensions of ur table/mats. Gamer mice have dynamic DPI, weight control and so on. Ohh and guess what: several buttons make me use my thumbs.
btw what's with the Nerd and mouse relation? non sense? if liking games is nerdy well I'm one, if being a social loser is nerdy, I'm not.
@The_Dragon_Born Noob...lies jajaja - enjoy yourself.
Btw I luv the Razer Hydra to play P2
@The_Dragon_Born I agree with you on most FPS style games, KBD/Mouse is the only way to play them but Portal/Portal 2 are primarily puzzle games. I've played both on the PC & the PS3, the controller works just as well in this case.
@Red_lath Like I said in the show, we use the controller to make it a more smooth viewing experience for you guys.
Guy was a jokes troll in Community Service earlier. Lack of catwoman suit was disappointing on Sebs part!
Love these weekly Portal 2 compilations! Played all of them so far :)
@S3RAF1M No? you can't do custom maps on consoles. This is on the PC using a game pad.
You could film this on PC with mouse smoothing and lower sensitivity. Controllers are kind of crappy for any first person perspective game.
I really liked the Independence Day level BTW. I watched that movie so many times when I was a kid. :)
