this made me smile

so instead of picking the NEW generation postal 3 because its sht they had to go all the way back and play this one. Says a lot about heaps of this generation of games, that you actually have to go back 5 years to have fun again. Theyll be playing final fantasy 7 next not FF12 or 13.

So apparently I'm behind in the times...When did they change the name from "Escape From Mount Stupid? And why? Not that I'm upset about this or anything. Juuuuuuuuuuust curious.

Postal 2 was released in 2003 if I remember correctly and I loved it.  Postal 3 is out now and I can't wait to get it.

You could have played MW3 or B3 online, which are better than this game.

Star Forge looks amazing 

If you think this postal is good you need to get the  a week in paradise mod. It adds like 400 weapons, more gore and a LOT more cheats. It makes regular postal look boring. From chainsaws and shrukens to dual automatic pistols and launchers that shoot zombies. you need that mod if you like postal.

wow, I didn't realize how hilarious this game is.

Ah... I remember when Erik Wolpaw gave this game a 4.8 and said it has terrible gameplay. This game was funny so what does he know.

(I am of course just meaning this as a sort of satire as Erik is himself very funny as well and yes he wrote dialogue for the game Portal).

This was kinda boring

This was seriously funny.

The great thing about Postal is that it allows you to do all those horrible things but doesn't tell you to, you're the sicko. The levels of the game always start out dull and normal with missions like buying milk at the store, cash your salary check etc. and it's always other people who turn the situation into violence. Postal therefore was a hell of a lot deeper into the philosophical terrain of virtual killing and antisocial behaviour than all the wannabe realistic shooters yet is slandered as  a childish and brutal piece of garbage that we need to be protected from.

Yay for Offspring Fling, it's the only game I can remember that went for the old style early 90s TV ad and nailed it in every way.

I remember when the Postal 1 demo came out, I was still living with my parents. I had to alt-tab out of the game every time they came into the room so they wouldn't see or hear people crawling on the ground begging for help and bleeding from the eyes. Well, its been 15 years and I still haven't killed anyone in real life......but hey there's always next year.
