StarCraft II Blizzard World Championship Series Oceania and Australia

Blizzard Entertainment and the Australian Cyber League (ACL) have partnered to host the Australian National and Oceania StarCraft II World Championship Series finals. The event marks the largest eSports competition that Blizzard has hosted in the region, with a combined prize pool of A$25,000.

Scheduled for the weekend of August 11-12 at the Australian Technology Park in Sydney, the Australian Nationals will kick off on Saturday to determine which players will compete in Sunday's Oceania Finals.

The event will showcase the top 18 players from Australia and New Zealand, and offer a combined prize pool of A$25,000. The two finalists will then go on to represent the region in the Battle.net World Championship in China later this year.
