Chapter 4--Ayame Mission Walk-Throughs

This section covers mission walk-throughs for Ayame. The walk-throughs include briefings, objectives, and a proven solution for completing the mission. The location of guards will be different for subsequent layouts.

Mission 1--Bamboo Forest

A villager erupts into tears in front of town officials. He explains that his daughter was taken as payment for a loan that he could not repay. Other village girls have been disappearing in the night as well. Witnesses come forth with news that the village girls have been taken to the temple in the bamboo forest. Because of the temple, the bamboo forest is considered a holy ground not to be disturbed by the government or the police. Lord Gohda has no choice but to send you into the bamboo forest for silent justice.

Rescue the Village Girls!

Objectives: Consult the map when lost. Enemies will become alert when they spot dead bodies. Hunt for ninja rebirth items.

You begin at the top of a bridge. Look at the terrain below and spot a guard patrolling around his small camp. When he walks away, drop down silently and eliminate him with a stealth kill. This first part of the walk-through is optional and provides some easy stealth kills and the location of the hot spring, which can heal your wounds.

Walk underneath the bridge below your start position and enter the small tunnel (crouch to move through it). When Ayame stands up, don't move forward or you'll fall down a pitfall. To reach the far side and cross the pitfall, you must shimmy across the rail on the right side. Jump up to it and maneuver across the pit.
