Itís been almost two and a a half years since the release of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker for the Nintendo GameCube. While there have been a few Zelda-related releases between then and now, such as The Four Swords and Minish Cap for the Gameboy Advance, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is really the first full-fledged home console entry in Nintendoís flagship series since Wind Waker won GameSpotís Game of the Year in 2003.
As you may expect, you take on the role of Link, a young hero who sets out to defend Hyrule and save Princess Zelda. In Twilight Princess, youíre fighting against the forces of shadow, which is slowly creeping throughout Hyrule, perverting the land into a twisted version of itself and changing all of its citizens into vague spirits. Itís up to you to cleanse the land of shadow, which entails - you guessed it - entering dungeons, grabbing heart containers, finding new weapons, and defeating numerous bosses.
Now that we've had time to play through the entire game, this guide now features a complete walkthrough for Twilight Princess, along with almost 20 videos (in the HTML version) for all the major boss fights. We also have a separate list of all 45 Pieces of Heart.
Note For GameCube Players
The GameCube version of Twilight Princess is a mirror-image of the Wii version. That means that all of the dungeon maps here are going to look like mirror images of what appear on the GameCube version. Since we wrote this guide on the Wii, if you're playing on the GameCube, you'll need to assume that when we say "west" we're telling you to go east, and vice versa. It's confusing, no doubt, but hopefully you'll be able to adjust!
