- The Bottom Line:
- "Best in series"
The first thing I did when I loaded FIFA 07 was to go on the Career mode. I believe that this is the most interesting single player option that you might have in the game. I played two different games. In the first I was a Greek no one knows manager in the English lower divisions, while in the second I was a lucky Greek no one knows that took the wheel of the Barcelona Club.
After playing around 80 (maybe more) hours with the game at normal difficulty I have to say that the game is very good.
First of all the physics of the engine have been improved. A lot. Player movement "feels" more natural and if you want to play quick football, you have to pass the ball a lot. You can also use long balls and crosses. Neither of these ways of creativity seems to be more superior to the other. As long as you want to play with a certain style you can. You also finish the opportunities either with the head, a good place or a powerful shot with equal chances of success in contrast with previous versions of the game.
Now the part that it is the most interesting of all if the fact that the youth development is EXCELLENT! There is an algorithm for automatic raise and fall of stats depending to the age, but at the same time the more you play a youth, the more chances he has of raising his abilities.
The financial governing of the team, is also very interesting and it seems to work good for your team. The other teams also are willing to sell even star players if the price is right and when you pay them, they will use their new money to bring fresh players to their club.
All in all, it is an excellent game. With no apparent weaknesses. Even the soundtrack collection is pretty cool.

It's a great game, but some other improvements would have made this realistic soccer game a little better.
