Most Liverpool fans were expecting the likes of Capello and Guardiola to manage Liverpool... You got Brendan Rogers.
The caliber of players Liverpool can get is Bendtner and below. That's it. They're a mid-table mediocre club, unlike Chelsea who won the Champs League recently, and thus have attracted big stars, and can be argued to be amongst the big boy clubs, unlike Liverpool who are going to be stuck with the likes of Fulham etc for a while now.

Players are still attracted to Liverpool purely because of the history of the club, and the fact that they have financial players. Many players that are alive now and at the age that Huntelaar is now grew up watching the unstoppable Liverpool in the 80's, and that still attracts them.
I revel in their failings and the fact that they're turning into a small club, but it's naive to think that players aren't still attracted to them as a club.

1. just stupid scousers who don't watch football
2. made up by you people just so you can mock us and say all Liverpool fans are delusional.
3. The media just to get a story.
And are you saying Brendan Rogers is not a good manager? Sure he is not a big name but he is only young what you expect.
I highy doubt we are targeting Bendtner so just no. We finish one season mid table and we are now a mid table team? In the last 3 seasons we finished 7th 6th and 8th - That was really disappointing but clubs only fall into mid table mediocrity when there is no real ambition at the club driving them forward. We have ambition, we have a good young manager, owner who will invest if needed. We spent 80mil last season on 4 players! Yes they were undeserved up such price but that was down to poor judgement by Kenny and his staff.
I could go on about how we were unlucky last season with hitting the woodwork, racism issues, Suarez being baned, pressure on player to live up to their fee's but that's all part of football and maybe we will get some luck this season.

I've never heard any chelsea fans say that, i can't imagine any chelsea fan actualy thinking that but we all know liverpool fans are people who live off there past and still think they can attract the biggest people in football and not realise that we've all moved on from the year dot and you've just got worse and worse.

they are big no doubt, but there are alot of clubs that are bigger in front of you guys. I wouldn't say you're one of the biggest clubs in the world, there's just too many in front of you. Liverpool is seen as a bigger club despite the last few season's when everything is taken into account.
