    In relation to item #5:

I can only get the Quarto Puppets to show up during a waxing moon, not a waning moon.

Looks like someone already noticed that. Is there a way to edit old posts, or is it stuck that way (O: New version... new sticky?

I found another error in the OP. Luca's command for the Band attack "Go! Calcabrina!" is Analyze, not Attack.

I think it might be time for the author to unsticky this topic and create a new version with the updated and corrected info posted in the topic regarding the Quarto Dolls, the "Go! Calcabrina!" Band attack and the effectiveness of Sleep on enemies in the Challenge Dungeons.

Adding LastFootnote's Bomb farming method would be a good addition also.

It's getting close to July. Might as well wait until then to update it. Besides, it really seems like a lot of newcomers haven't been reading this anyway.

Yes, it's unfortunate that editing is prohibited. And it's your topic, so you should do what you feel is best.

Though, it is almost three weeks until the next batch of Tales is released. If you are comfortable with the topic staying as is until then, that's your call.

I just don't like the idea of making two more topics in a matter of three weeks. =/

I see your point though, and will take it into consideration.

I did look at it and do the wrong thing and I'm new (O:

July isn't long to wait... hopefully people will notice the errors. We just need to talk about THE QUATRO DOLLS not being there during the moon it says so when people will scan they will look up more information on the correct moon phase for the QUARTO DOLLS.

(do you think that'll help (O

    Howdy ho there.

I think something we might want to include is a link to The After Years Wiki. Put a spoiler warning and mention that there's a lot of stuff on there.

'Sup Action? A pity a lot of us already have a clue about the overall story due to our time on the FFIVTA boards for the cell phone version.

And yeah, seems like a good idea to do that.

    6. If I've never played the original Final Fantasy IV, will I enjoy this? [GQ06

    Chances are, you won't.

Actually, this is the second Final Fantasy game I've ever played (the first was Mystic Quest), and I am really enjoying it. I'm towards the end of Ceodore's Tale still, but I can't believe how much I like it. I've really got to play the other Final Fantasy's, I always thought they were overrated.

Mystic Quest is actually a SaGa game renamed for the US release to increase sales, IIRC.

And I'm really surprised you can enjoy this without FF4, considering the game makes almost no effort to summarize anything that happened previously, and that around 95% of the plot relies on the events of the original.

Final Fantasy Mystic Quest is a Final Fantasy game. The Final Fantasy Legend games are the renamed SaGa games.

It really didn't feel like I missed out on a bunch. Most of the story made sense to me. Sure, I didn't know anything about the characters, but it seemed to me I knew everything I needed to know from this game.
