Why the hell advertise this? this is not what I was expecting to see when I came to this page, I thought it was either something new or that Square Enix had done what the people want for a change and actually announcing the remake of VII. Sooo disappointed. =(

Personally i like the FF games that were made on the Playstation 1 console ( 7,8,9)
But the seventh game will always a a special place in my heart! So if its gonna be a remake it has to be the seventh i hope! Thank you for creating theese games Squaresoft, and thank you more if you will ever make a remake out of the seventh one=)

1 Like @slonekb05 @davidc172133 thats what Final Fantasy games need....... another sequel........ lets milk a beloved franchise for all its worth by making......... another sequel........... Sqenix need to stop making sequels and refocus on what FF games are really all about- open ended gameplay with no tunnels, and a leveling system that doesnt revolve around precious stones.
@nickfitz_99 @slonekb05 @davidc172133 Yeah, they may not have to have anything to do with evelling up but precious stones can be a great addition to a game. (FFVII!!)
@nickfitz_99 @slonekb05 @davidc172133 couldent agree more on gameplay, but the last .6 or so final fantasy have been garbage. if your going to make a sequel to FF why not make it of one we all agree is good.. which would be 7. just makes sense

4 Like For the of god just do the remake, i cant stand lighting or snow, or any of the new characters, just bring back Auron, Cloud or Tidus....thats all you need.
2 Like SE needs to remake this game already for the PS3; FF has gone downhill from what i've seen over the last decade or so. it's time for the remake to come out, then end it on that note and move on to something else. besdies, we all know that FFXIII Versus will never come out

@pezzott1 I'm not going to purchase it myself but I thought along similar lines myself when I saw this. I thought 'I wonder if they're testing the water to see if enough people are still interested in FFVII and if so should we remake it?'.
But then I am an optimist! =D
1 Like This mythical story of no sense making plot thingies!No but seriously if you havent played this game before, do it. Its great. Just requires you to use your braincells with the story.
