    i just wanted to know cause im doing an upgrade tomarrow and was curious wether the ddr2 ram im getting will make a difference.

    well ddr2 would be pc-6400, so twice as fast? and same price

    Well most motherboards can't support both ddr and ddr2. So unless you motherboard supports both, you need the one that will work with you motherboard.

    yeah i forgot to mention im upgrading my processor and mobo also from 3.0 ghz prescott to c2d e6300 so i need ddr2  now.

    DDR2 RAM is a lot better than DDR400 RAM.
