bump, o and i like ray more than rex, but i like the Metal Gear Cow or w/e its called the most if it counts. Sure it's not the most powerful but it's extremely deadly and flexible, o and it excretes liquidy manure.

The steel PS3 kinda looks weird. Do people think that as well, or do you guys like it?

I think I'm the only one who likes my electronics in a matching colour, or at least to have a similar colour.

It reminds me about the Halo 3 Xbox 360 last year and that's not a good thing.

This thread needs a bump. And I do like the 'steel' PS3. And this promo DVD is nothing like the one you get when you pre ordered the game. It's some kind of trailer for videogame stores.

it would be too cruel for them to not release an SP demo at some point before the game releases. Is there a really good reason for not releasing a demo on PSN in the coming weeks? would it detract from progress on the actual game?

I think they won't make a demo because they would have to creat a whole new level. They don't want to use a real level of the game and I think this way it's too much work.

Honestly if there was a demo I would avoid playing it. I played the MGS2 demo to death waiting for the game to release and then when I got it I was kind of sad at how quickly I flew throught the first part because I had it memorized from the demo. I dont wanna ruin the story for myself anymore.

Do you think there's a chance we will see the real Ocelot coming back? I mean the idea of Liquid obsessed somebody is quite awesome but why the hell did it had to be Ocelot? In every freaking MGS game Ocelot is the plot twister. And now some crazy Brtitish bloke took over his body. And from MPO it seems that Ocelot was a member of the Patriots since they were established. And so one of the baddest asses in the world is simply defeated by his new arm? I hope he will come back. Maybe in the end of MGS4 when Snake is going to kill Liquid that the true Ocelot returns. So what do you think about this?

Has anyone bought the MGS: Essential Collection?

I wanted to know if MGS2 & MGS3 are compatible with the 80GB and if MG 1&2 are included as well.

all mgs games are compatible with the 80gig, and MG 1 and 2 are included on the MGS3 disc i believe

No, MG 1&2 are included on the second disc of MGS3 Subsistence, which is not included with the EC. You'll have to buy Subsistence by itself if you want the second disc.

Then what is so special about the MGS3 in the collection? Does it still have aditional content not found in the original MGS3? If so I might buy it reguardless of it missing what was originally my reason to buy the collection (MG1&MG2).
