A relatively quiet time for games at the moment with the big titles already out or due later this year. So in that case what did you spend your hard earned cash on this month?

Show us what you got this month by posting your loot below. Same rules apply, no stock photos from Google images, EB Games, Amazon etc. Take your own photo and upload (get help here for uploading images). The pick-up thread is not limited to games, so feel free to include anything you think other forums users may have an interest in.

Forgot what you got last month? Check here.

    *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

I'll kick things off with the crap I wasted my precious money on.

    - First items are a DS Lite, Mario Kart, Maths Training and that new cooking game. All gifts for my wife. Though I admit I will be using that cooking game.

    - I needed a few DS games for myself.

    - A couple PSP games. Having withdrawl symptoms after finishing Metal Gear, I heard Secret Agent Clanck is the closest thing to it

    - Caved and bought SSBB.

    - My 360 version of Oblivion died and I had an urge to play some more. Found GOTY edition for PS3 for only $50!

    - Never lend games. I found Shadow of the Colossus at a table sale and it finally replaces my lost copy.

    - Got sick of wires. This came in handy during the Halo 3 Community Game Night.

    - To wrap up, some DVDs. Jumper, Golden Compass, Next and Red Dwarf Smeg Ups.

Yay! I got some good stuff this month, but you'll have to hold on a little longer because I'll probably end up getting more. Btw, good haul MJ.

    Some great picks-ups MJ!

I have held off buying anything this month and i still have LOTS to play. Still playing GTAIV of PS3 and have other games yet to finish. On PC im busy with Civ 4, Mount & Blade, Morrowind and trying out various other game demos.

Once i get a few games finished i'll be picking up some of the more recent titles like MGS and Battlefield Bad Company (cause im addicted to the demo).

I ordred the MGS4 guide 2 or so months ago and it either arrived late last month or early this month. I got I Am Lgend for free because my sister's boyfriend won it in a competition and he doesn't have a Blu-Ray player.

I picked up Alone in the Dark LE, which i kind of regret (though it was only $17 due to trade ins). Picked up the Recruit on dvd, bought a cd by The Vaine, got the latest Hyper and seasons 3 and 4 of the OC.

Well, i have quite the picture for you. I shall edit this later to put a picture in.

Basically, my parents bought something that didn't fit in the living room at the moment, so for a limited time, i get it in my room.

Also, i got Need For Speed Underground 2 on PS2 for $12. It's a lot worse than i remembered, but i'm still having fun with it.

and to add to that, i believe you just lost the game.

You bought that instead of Most Wanted or Hot Pursuit II....why?

PSP games are fantastic value now. I'm really trying hard not to buy 1, but Im thinking I might cave in when I head to Asia next year.

I officially hate you and your copy of Shadow of the Collusus. I've been trying to find that game for ages...

I prefer the wired headset, and I'm getting another one with the $60 special at Target this weekend. 1 year of LIVE + headset + 200 points = insane value.

Not one good DVD at all. Jumper is middling, Golden Compass is wow but meh, don't need to explain Next... and Red Dwar, ok - I dont know anything about.

Yeah, it counts. Any purchase, no matter how small. And damn, you must have been poor this month.

Nice to see someone else find the excellent in Go! Go! Break Steady. Its a great game - is it compatible with the Scene It? controllers?

And yes, just abotu every 360 owner is getting a copy of Geo Wars 2.

Hell, even the original Underground was better. Underground 2 was worse in every aspect.

You can find a demo on the Marketplace you know. Might have saved you a trip.
